Garden update: a break in the rain to pull my carrots, cut lettuce and kale πŸ₯¬ before the heat wave this week. This is my best year growing carrots. πŸ₯• Each year it gets better. I need to add more peat moss to make the soil even more fluffy. Hopefully, I will get the right recipe. I captured lots of current blooming flowers, 🌼 🌸complete with bees 🐝 . I was able to pick my first tomato of the year, Apricot Zebra. I have tons of other varieties on the vine, waiting to ripen.

A quick trip to Louisville, KY Saturday night with dinner and a few scenic stops. Highly recommend eating there. Fabulous cocktails and thoughtful, flavor layered, beautiful food! The scallops were unbelievable!
