The Curl Bus

Dropping off goodies in The Curl Bus at the Raw Curls Chicago warehouse today. Hmm…🤔

The Curl Bus is in Safety Harbor, Florida today and tomorrow - doing our yearly "Shakedown Cruise" to make sure everything is working and that we got everything fixed from 2025 over the winter (LOTS of stuff breaks and LOTS of stuff needs maintenance)

Did you notice the new "Mini Curl" tow vehicle??
We had lots of struggles last year with our tow dolly and the other car as far as towing, the weight, not being able to back it up, flat tires, etc. it was just a pain every single trip. So we upgraded a little, and this trip was the test. Getting in-and-out of places is always a struggle, and this seems to have solved that. Yay!

This coming week we will be going LIVE with an update on the 2026 schedule.

As you can probably guess, it's been a struggle this year trying to schedule routes & stops due to the increased costs that we are all seeing. By this time last year, we had already made 2 or 3 tour stops. So far this year in 2026, we haven't done any.

But we will update you this week. Watch for the post where we will announce when the LIVE will be right here on the page.

Next week, TWO big announcements coming:

1 - We will be releasing our initial tour stop schedule for 2026. And we might add more as the spring & summer get closer.

2 - We will be announcing the date & time of our Live SALE! Our 2025 tour cost us a lot more money than we expected, so we've decided to do an online Live Sale to raise what we need for the 2026 Curl Bus Tour (and the number we need to raise in order to fix what we need fixed, to and get us going with fuel, maintenance, fees, etc. is about $21,000 - so plan on being there. Remember:
No money = No Curl Bus Tour in 2026).

As you know, when we release dates and locations, we book out FAST - so it's important get in contact with us when we release the schedule and DON'T wait.

We will make an announcement here in the next few days!

This is exactly what it's like! lol
Usually it's a Buc-cee's, or a rest area that doesn't allow overnight parking :/ where we'll get "The knock".

The hardest part about being on the road in The Curl Bus is finding spots to spend the night where we can get our whole rig to fit (65 feet long in total with the trailer).

We usually can't just "stop at a campground" - because you normally need reservations, and we often don't know where we are going to stop. It's hard.

But worse is getting woke up out of a sound sleep at 3am by "the knock" of some rent-a-cop telling us to get lost.

Nice, quiet overnight here in the Cracker Barrel parking lot, and a nice breakfast to start the day.

Now headed to Valdosta by the end of the day (hopefully). Birmingham and Atlanta traffic always sucks.

We're headed to Arkansas today for a couple days of R&R (no curly cuts this trip) then back to SWFL to start the new year.
