Express yourself Completely!
It has become more and more known that often what is hiding underneath symptoms of hormone disruption, sleep problems, gut issues, fatigue, irritability, depression, all symptoms of peri-menopause, are emotional wounds buried beneath the surface; unacknowledged fear and pain, unexpressed truths, withheld trauma and anger, even from early childhood.
While it is absolutely essential to support your body’s Radiant Health through appropriate nutrition, supplementation and exercise to support your unique system’s needs; also profoundly important is meditation and self-expression to uncover and discover underlying sources of distress and release them in safe and empowering ways, like through writing, art, and sharing openly about what is not feeling good.
Express yourself truthfully with your friends and loved ones. Sharing about the difficult things, not holding back when you have an upset, but expressing yourself with respect and vulnerability so you can be seen and truly heard creates safety, trust, and intimacy. Feelings of intimacy trigger nitric oxide production. Nitric oxide, a deeply important substance, affects the whole body instantaneously, relaxing blood vessels, improving circulation to deliver more oxygen to the body, lowering pathology, promoting longevity. Nitric oxide literally gives you more life force energy which can build up over time if you are dedicated to practices that release negative emotion and promote beautiful emotions like love and joy.
Feelings of intimacy also create oxytocin, the love molecule, which lowers cortisol and inflammation; and also create serotonin and beta-endorphins, so you can feel GOOD again.
It’s not possible to have true intimacy with yourself and others when you suppress or deny the negative – this creates loneliness and isolation.
Express Yourself! Live and Speak your Truth. Open your heart to deeper Love. Heal and Uplift your Spirit and your Body to a state of Radiant Health!

What is Radiant Health for Life?
Radiant Health is how you live the whole of your life. It is how connected you are with yourself and nature. It is how one you are with yourself, and how you relate to yourself.
Radiant Health is feeling GOOD. Radiant Health is adaptability, resilience and vitality.
Our bodies are MADE to live in a state of pleasure. This is a birthright we came in with as human beings, as babies: in our Essence, we are in a state of ecstasy, or in other words, a feeling-state of Union, or Oneness with the entire Universe. In our true nature we are at Peace within ourselves and one with nature: in a natural state of ecstatic bliss. BE, at peace, within you and outside of you. This is where true health begins.
There are daily health practices which, with some elegance, can be integrated into the structure of your life, that support your whole system, including your emotional self, in moving out of distress or dis-ease, and back into balance and beautiful functioning, as you develop resilience and more wholeness over time. Most people underestimate how deeply important our emotional health is to our physical health.
Radiant Health begins from the inside out – yet it also begins from the outside-in! Our environment, and how we respond to it, determines how our genes express themselves, and whether we’re creating vibrant health or contributing to disease. There are so many ways we can be creative and responsible in creating the spaces we live in to be as supportive to our health, thriving and longevity as possible! Our bodies have the ability to regenerate themselves, if we don’t clog up the works, but give them the opportunity to do so. Our job is to allow, facilitate and support this process.

Benefits of morning sun

Get naked in the sun! There are so many amazing health benefits to getting morning sunlight!! First of all, it helps you sleep much better because it strengthens your circadian rhythm! Our skin and eyes produce melatonin, a powerful antioxidant which releases into the system after dark to help us sleep, and powers up the mitochondria in our DNA. Our skin produces melanin from the UV rays, which gets processed into hormone compounds that are then stored in the liver for important body functions. The D3 our skin produces promotes calcium absorption, strengthens bones, empowers the immune system, and lowers inflammation. When we sunbathe, we reduce our chances of developing major illnesses, and boost our endocrine system by producing endorphins, serotonin and nitric oxide, which is why it feels so good emotionally as well to take this precious self-care time in the morning to get 5-15 minutes of sun. Even when it’s cold out, in the sun you will feel warm, and avoid the depressive effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder. I get my sun nutrient every morning when I can and absolutely feel the difference! I challenge you to as well!

Sprout your nuts! They are so healthy for you, loaded with essential nutrients like essential the fatty acids found in almonds and walnuts, which support cardiovascular health and fight inflammation, protein, vitamin E, and other trace amounts of nutrients like zinc, calcium, phosphorus. However, nuts that haven’t been sprouted also contain phytic acid and lectin, antinutrients, which leach nutrients out of your food and may contribute to leaky gut syndrome. Nuts that have been sprouted are more digestible, contain more nutrients, are alkaline, and actually alive, which contributes so much more to your health than eating food that isn’t. Best of all they taste amazing, particularly sprinkled with a dash of Himalayan salt. After you’ve soaked your nuts for two days in spring water or RO water with a sprinkle of apple cider vinegar, strain out the water, dehydrate, store, and you have ready-made healthy snacks, or in my case, part of a yummy breakfast. Enjoy!!!
