Rain Kissed Reflections
Sometimes the best adventures happen when the weather keeps everyone else at home. While hiking through Honey Island Swamp in the rain it reminded me that nature doesn’t stop because of the weather - it comes alive! Every step deeper into the swamp revealed another hidden masterpiece.

I caught this great blue heron just as it launched from its perch along the Del Ray Marina. Moments like these last only seconds - but they’re the reason I always keep my camera ready.
