Rain Kissed Reflections

Sometimes the best adventures happen when the weather keeps everyone else at home. While hiking through Honey Island Swamp in the rain it reminded me that nature doesn’t stop because of the weather - it comes alive! Every step deeper into the swamp revealed another hidden masterpiece.

I caught this great blue heron just as it launched from its perch along the Del Ray Marina. Moments like these last only seconds - but they’re the reason I always keep my camera ready.

Beneath the Moss

Beneath the hanging moss and heavy Louisiana skies, stillness settled over the marsh at High Bridge Canal in Madisonville.

The kind of quiet you can feel before the wind changes.

Chasing light through the cypress and glassy water of Manchac Swamp. Beautiful...but there's always that feeling something's just beneath the surface.

Not every session is about perfect posing - sometimes it's about creating space to just be.
We laughed, explored, and let the moments happen naturally...and that's where the magic shows up.
