Number 3️⃣ in our series of unused directions for our health and wellness projects…

For this client, there was a big emphasis on the location and building where their practices are based, so we drew inspiration from shapes found in architecture to create a pattern, to which we applied gradients in colors referencing the materials found in their practices.

✌️Number two in our series of beautiful, unused directions! 💔

This women’s health client had provided moodboards including a lot of primary colors and simple geometric shapes, mixed with some classic artworks. We wanted to reference their artful approach but give it a twist, and created a logomark that subtly referenced the 3 pillars of their approach, using overlapping shapes in their brand colors.

Welcome back to the Creative Minute, episode 02!

French word of the week 🧐 'Carte blanche' literally 'white card' entered the English language a few centuries ago, originally referring to a French card game, in which a carte blanche was a hand having no face card. Now it means having complete freedom to do or say whatever we please, and it’s often used to refer to an artist’s creation. on a Monday, because we were to busy opening presents last Friday 🙈
There are a lot of French words that we use in art & design, without really knowing what they mean or come from! 🇫🇷 As a French-founded design studio, we wanted to highlight one of our favorites each week✨

🇫🇷 ‘Nature morte’, although it means ‘still life’, literally translates to ‘dead nature’. I remember my first Art History teacher pointing out the contrast between the English and the French phrase. Still life sounds a lot better doesn’t it?
