I always get this question can I pick the right color for my lips ? Picking colour can be hard for all my clients endless color and combos and the colour you pick is there forever, right?

NOPE ❌ read below !

Lip blush can only last 2-5 years with proper aftercare and the right artist and technique the colour can a ways be adjusted with a Touchup or yearly we can always go light to dark and after a while dark to light ( some cases )

For example, If at your initial appointment you picked the colors like n**e light pink but you decided later you wanted your lips to be more rich and bright we can adjust pigments to go with the pigment already on your lip to achieve the bright rich red or darker pink , this can be achieved.

If you are stuck between two of your favourite lipsticks but they are total opposite of each-other, I always recommend going with the brighter lipstick and the one you wear more often. For a More everyday look . After lip blush heals you can always apply and wear different lipsticks . Lip blush is like having a glam squad with you everyday perfect everyday lip !

Sometimes my clients are torn between picking a colour because they think that colour will be the colour they are stuck with forever.🤍

Although Lip Blush is considered "permanent makeup" it doesn't have to be permanent. With the correct technique, the tattoo only last 1-3 years.

Why does a lip tattoo fade but a regular tattoo on your body doesn't?

- with lip blush we are only tattooing into the first layer of the skin it is quite superficial and with my technique we are only brushing the skin with the needle

- We are constantly using our lips to eat, drink, kiss a our lips are usually getting wet or moist and this also fades the tattoo

- The skin on our lips is constantly shedding the dry skin, meaning your tattoo is also shedding
It is common to adjust the colour of your tattoo with vearly or bi yearly Touchups.

Sometimes a brighter colour is requested or more muted colour, sometimes a client may want a warmer or cooler version of the colour they come in with. In most cases the colour can always be altered. There are limitations to this though, for example if you were to have your lips tattooed a super dark purple and then 6 months later you wanted a super natural and light pink.. this probably won't be achievable but this would be extremely rare

A colour light / n**es won't last as long as something brighter or darker, so this is a good colour to start with if you are nervous about the longevity of your lip tattoo. Remember that the tattoo fades 50% within the first week.

You could create your own DIY lip scrub to help. I'll add the recipe below:

1. Choose oil of your choice (grapeseed, hempseed & olive oil are the most popular)

2. Grab some white or brown sugar if even coffee

3. Mix together to make texture not as thick as paste but not just liquid you want to be able to smooth the grains over your lips with of it causing any trauma

4. Rub over your lips

5. Then apply lip balm repeat during face morning and night routine !
