The Iranian government attacks its own people and then shifts the blame to make Israel look bad. Many of us believe the Islamic Republic is fully capable of harming its own civilians and blaming others to manipulate global opinion.

For decades, this regime has killed, threatened, imprisoned, and terrorized its own citizens. It forced millions of us to leave our homeland. We lived in constant fear, even walking down the street, worried about whether we were “covered enough.” We had no freedom of speech. No financial stability. No sense of a secure future. Everything was controlled. Everything was restricted. All because of the Islamic Republic.

When thousands of Iranians were killed by their own government just months ago, much of the world looked away. For years, it has felt like our suffering didn’t matter, like people were conditioned not to see us.

But the moment Israel’s name is mentioned, suddenly the world reacts.

We are exhausted by this hypocrisy.

And let’s be clear: we never had a problem with Israeli people. Jewish communities lived in Iran for generations , they were part of our country, our culture, our neighborhoods. Many were pushed out. Today, there are countless Iranians living in Israel. Our anger is not toward ordinary people anywhere. It is toward a regime that oppresses its own people and then hides behind global narratives to escape accountability.

We want freedom. We want dignity. And we want the world to stop confusing the Iranian people with the government that holds us hostage.
دولت ایران به مردم خودش حمله می‌کند و بعد برای بدنام کردن اسرائیل، تقصیر را گردن دیگران می‌اندازد. بسیاری از ما باور داریم جمهوری اسلامی کاملاً توانایی آسیب زدن به شهروندان خودش و سپس مقصر جلوه دادن دیگران برای دستکاری افکار عمومی جهان را دارد.

دهه‌هاست که این رژیم مردم خودش را کشته، تهدید کرده، زندانی کرده و در ترس نگه داشته است. میلیون‌ها نفر را مجبور به ترک وطن کرده است. ما در اضطراب دائمی زندگی می‌کردیم — حتی هنگام راه رفتن در خیابان نگران بودیم که مبادا «به اندازه کافی پوشیده» نباشیم. آزادی بیان نداشتیم. ثبات مالی نداشتیم. هیچ حس امنیتی نسبت به آینده نداشتیم. همه چیز کنترل می‌شد. همه چیز محدود بود. همه‌اش به خاطر جمهوری اسلامی….
