Helping People Treat Themselves, Infinitely. Ryan M. is an entrepreneur who started selling skin care in 2021.
Ryan began Infinitely obsidian due to a tremendous change in his skin’s health and his inability to access professionals. He diligently began research to understand the skin issues he and his peers suffered from. He focused on hydration in late 2020 learning about vegan and natural products and independently began formulating in 2019; creating his first product Obsidian body butter. He later began to focus on hyperpigmentation, discoloration, dark marks, and scarring with the natural products he’s formulated and released on his platforms. After establishing an LLC, Ryan then went on to solidify his knowledge in skin care by attending Aveda Arts Institute’s Esthetician Program graduating at the top of his class in November 2022. With a plethora of knowledge and new skills, he now not only offers products that are up to date in targeting skin issues for people of color, but he also offers facial and body services; bettering his understanding of different skin types daily. Life has a way of changing your plans.
I took a hiatus from esthetics to focus on myself, never imagining how much my life was about to change. During that time, I was assaulted, and what followed was a long road to recovery that included two open-heart surgeries and a lung surgery. Recovery is still ongoing, but I’m grateful to say I’m healing a little more every day.
That experience gave me a new perspective on resilience, self-care, and the importance of investing in ourselves. While recovering, I’ve also been working behind the scenes—developing new formulas for future Infiskin products and planning what’s next.
I’m excited to officially be back and am currently offering facials, facial consultations, and several other services, which I’ll be sharing more about in upcoming posts.

A lot of us use what is told or sold to us, but you have to do your own research on your own hair. Honestly this should be a 5 grade science project because the knowledge goes a long way.
Have you ever tested your hair’s porosity? It’s easy, all you need is a glass of water, to brush or comb your hair, and to take one of the shedding strands and place it in the cup. If the porosity of your hair is high, it will sink, if it’s low, it will stay on the surface, and for those with medium porosity the hair will float in the water.
Just based off of porosity alone will you use a different set a products from someone else. So please if you are serious about your hair, do YOUR homework.
