Here are a few things that help my clients—and me—finally start sleeping deeper and waking up with real energy:

😴 A consistent evening and morning routine

😴 Going to bed + waking up at the same time daily

😴 Practicing 3-2-1 sleep (3 hrs no food, 2 hrs no work, 1 hr no screens)

😴 Taking magnesium glycinate for restorative sleep

😴 Getting outside within an hour of waking to reset cortisol

Exhausted but still getting it all done?

That’s not success. That’s silent burnout. And it’s costing you. 😞

It shows up like this:

✔️ You’re high-performing on the outside
❌ But feel depleted on the inside

💤 Rest days that don’t feel restful
🍷 Wine as your only real way to unwind

Burnout in midlife doesn’t always look like a breakdown.

It looks like barely holding it together while doing everything “right.”

Here’s how to start shifting—right now:

☀️ Get 5 minutes of morning light to reset your cortisol rhythm

💨 Try 4-7-8 breathing to regulate your nervous system fast
(4 sec inhale / 7 sec hold / 8 sec exhale – do it twice, feel the shift.)

🍹 Swap weekend cocktails for a mineral-rich mocktail, because alcohol might feel relaxing—but it actually spikes stress through midweek

Your energy for next week starts now!

Did you know that what you do in the 72 hours before Monday sets the tone for how you lead, feel, and function.

If you want more clarity, confidence, and control—don’t wait for Monday motivation.

Build your weekend power ritual now. 💪🏻

❌ What not to do:

Power through Friday on caffeine and fumes, spend Saturday deep in a scroll-and-sip spiral—glass of wine or skinny marg in hand, because “hey, you deserve it!”—and wake up Sunday already anxious & overwhelmed, telling yourself,

“I’ll get it together on Monday.”

That pattern doesn’t reset you—it repeats burnout.

✅ Here’s what to do instead:

✔️ Movement—not mileage. Go for a walk, stretch it out, or do a Pilates flow. Gentle movement clears mental clutter.

✔️ Mocktail over meltdown. Wind down with a magnesium mocktail and a good book instead of Netflix and wine.

✔️ Prep for you first. Before the grocery list or kids’ schedule, map your self-care—workouts, meals, mindset.

✔️ Skin care = self care. Take time for the face mask, the body oil, the long shower. That’s your nervous system saying thank you.

✔️ Sunday is a strategy day. Spend 15 minutes outlining your non-negotiables. No more running on fumes.

The best weeks aren’t packed. They’re prioritized.
