I nurtured a wisteria vine, growing in the corner of my property, over a 16 year period, so that it surrounded the perimeter of my house in Sag Harbor. It was astonishing this time of year. Its scent and lushness stopped traffic - literally- on my corner. I am missing my wisteria terribly.
