Aparat is a set design, event design and prop styling company based in Brooklyn. It was founded by Olga Naiman in 2003.
The central intention of Aparat is to transport the beholder. We listen for the essence of my clients’ message and pull from a tapestry of references to visually articulate it. The goal is to create a direct connection between the message and the experience; to impart an immediate, multi-sensory and visceral moment of wow. We work across the design spectrum from concept development to design and production. Whether the result is a still image or a space, the approach is the same: to bring beauty and poetry into juxtaposition with quirky surrealism, imperfection and humor.
