Emerging from the cave to grab essentials for the babe and the cats.
Needed a little pick me up so I quickly did my face and popped on Jack D. Ripper. While applying it brought back memories of roller derby, teammates, and cats. How could I not smile with all those wonderful thoughts?! In these days a smile goes a long way. It may be hidden but my heart knows and I will be putting that good energy out into the universe.

Truth.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been shocking and quite frankly has stunned us as a business, personally and as a family. Everything has came to a screeching halt but now we have processed the on going crisis and the gears are beginning to turn once again.
As a small business there are countless concerns, what-if scenarios, risks and rewards... All existing pre-pandemic. Now those concerns, what-ifs, and risks have become amplified. The reward(s)? Hanging on and making it out of this crisis.
As a family we don't know what day it really is without having to look at the calendar. Every day feels like Sunday. I'm stuck (in a good way) with my spouse and 10 month old 24/7. We have occasional snappiness but we talk and move past those weak moments. I want to come out of this pandemic knowing I've done my best for my family, kept my cool as much as possible, lead by example, not succumb to laziness completely (let's be real the batteries NEED to be recharged during this situation and it's cool to take break and veg w out guilt) and also keep a sense of humor. When the dust finally settles I want to be proud of how we handled this situation, as individuals and as a family.
