One of the biggest game changers I discovered wasn’t a special flour blend. It was steam. 💨🍞
Adding steam during the first 15-20 minutes of baking helps delay crust formation, giving your loaf more time to rise before the outside sets.
The result?
✅ Better oven spring
✅ Softer crumb
✅ Crispier crust
✅ Less dense bread
My simple trick: Place a small ovenproof pan of hot water on the bottom rack while baking, then remove it after 20 minutes.
Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference.

Saturday at the farmers market with Oh My Loaf 🥖
I brought a full table of gluten-free, plant-based goodness, from ciabatta rolls, seeded rolls, focaccia rolls, and sweet rolls to blueberry muffins, Loaf You Like Crazy, Seed the Moment loaves, and my gluten-free bread mixes.
And yes, the rolls can now come with individually sealed spreads too: hummus, guacamole, or peanut butter & jam. A little roll picnic, without the picnic blanket drama.
Everything is made for the gluten-free lifestyle: vegan, gum-free, wholesome, and baked with a lot of care.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, tasted, bought, smiled, and supported this little loaf dream. Every Saturday teaches me something new, and every customer helps shape what Oh My Loaf is becoming.

I’ll slice the roll for you, and you can spread it yourself, because sometimes the best part is building that first bite exactly how you like it.
