There are some moments in this founder journey that just hit differently. Years ago, I had the pleasure of working with Mahisha Dellinger, founder of Curls brand, during my days as a beauty editor at ESSENCE. I watched her build her brand, champion textured hair, and help create space for so many of us in beauty.

Today, I get to experience something I never could have imagined-having a fellow beauty founder I once covered show love to something I’ve built. OMG I am over the moon right now!

Shoot Day-We’ve been sitting on something for weeks and finally it’s almost time. Something new is coming to the Shower cap lineup and we cannot wait to share 👀Hint: It’s colorful.

Dropped my daughter off at Howard University and all I could see were the many hairstyles that took time, money and a whole lot of effort to create. Braids. Wigs. Locs. Curls. The kids came to campus READY. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Y’all did that!
