Thank God for my little village because without the people who showed up for me, checked on me, watched my babies, encouraged me, prayed for me, and loved me through the hard parts… I truly don’t know how I would’ve made it. I’ll never forget that.

I am my mother’s revenge. My grandmother’s revenge. Everything they prayed for, sacrificed for, cried for, and never got the chance to become — I carry that with me every single day. And I’m not done yet. I’m coming back for everything the devil stole from me and my family.
