Tbd. - An Omaha Based Dance Collective
artist-driven dance collective tbd. Through our work, we hope to encourage critical dialogue about movement and the meaning it generates.
is an Omaha based modern and contemporary dance collective comprised of artists who want to create, learn, explore, and perform movement together. We continually experiment with the creative process of building choreography in order to reinvent performance for our audience and ourselves. We collaborate with other artists and organizations throughout the community so that our work is both innovative and relevant. Our mission is to improve ourselves technically as dancers, produce unique and quality art through movement, and continue the growth and support of modern/contemporary dance in Omaha.

Introducing BLiPSWiTCH! ✨
We are so honored to have Taryn Lavery and Alex Pruitt, co-founders and co-directors of BLiPSWiTCH join us for Making Space Dance Festival 2026!
Alex Pruitt will teach a workshop on Saturday, October 24 from 10-11:15 AM Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement!
This open-level contemporary class begins with a follow-along warm up and moves into phrase work (potentially including floor work). No matter what happens, it will be an hour and fifteen minute dance party seeking to inspire and challenge. The ultimate goal is to enjoy ourselves, muddle through, get messy, figure s**t out and sweat together in a supportive community of movers.
✅ Open to all movers 18+
✅ Workshop is free to attend with optional donation when signing up!

It’s back! Making Space will return in October 2026 better than ever.
Save the dates: October 23-25! ✨
Now in its sixth year, Making Space is a performance festival, produced by tbd. dance collective, featuring a curation of choreographic works created by local, regional, and national movement artists. The purpose of this festival is to provide a platform for movement artists to present new work, explore the process of developing choreography, create connections among artist locally and cross-regionally, and offer educational workshops to foster a collective celebration of dance within our community.
This year, tbd. has partnered with Omaha Performing Arts to host Making Space Dance Festival at Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement. We can’t wait to continue to share more about this amazing weekend of dance!

It seems like Passage was a lifetime ago. We danced in the vastness, shielded our eyes from the sun, and relished in the magic of the prairie.
Thank you Glacier Creek for allowing us to create in this beautiful location.
Thank you to the wonderful musicians who helped bring our vision to life. Suz Pearl Lovejoy Boyd Elyse Nelson
As always, thank you Ben Semisch - Photog/Filmmaker for capturing these special moments.

tbd. had quite the eventful summer! Image roundup for “Until the feeling passes”, our piece choreographed for the Omaha Mobile Stages’ sunset show back in May.
This piece was choreographed by our very own Kenzie Sawyer, and it was such a pleasure to share with the audience at the Joslyn Castle.
ID 1: Four dancers grab onto Kyan’s arm, helping her to suspend over the edge of the raised Omaha Mobile Stage.
ID 2: Kenzie sits on the stage, reaching up at an angle. Her fingers are curling in and her gaze intent toward her hand.
ID 3: Gayle pushes her foot and back against the other dancers to help suspend her body in the air horizontally. Her left arm and leg are reaching toward the sky.
ID 4: Annie in the foreground extends her bent left arm while Kyan in the background reaches her right arm out.
