This will be their final weekend! 🚨
In a surprising move, Plantees (considered by many as Orlando’s “vegan McDonald’s”) announced today that they will be closing shop after this weekend and moving to Arizona! 🌵
In their announcement they wrote:
“We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Plantees along the way.
As we make the move to Arizona, this weekend will be our final weekend serving Orlando.
If you’ve been thinking about stopping by one more time, we’d love to see you.
Plantees will continue in Arizona. Stay tuned for updates!”
Be sure to share with anyone you feel will want to make a final visit before they close! 🚨

I can’t believe how amazing my vegan baby shower turned out 😍😍 and it wouldn’t have been possible without the contributions of so many amazing local vendors:
- farmers market cupcakes - 6 flavors!!! (Compassion Confection Co. LLC )
- Ube sheet cake (Sampaguita Filipino - American Ice Cream )
- hummus graze board / brownie stroopwafel board (Dees Brothers Brewery )
- mini vegan cheesecakes (Cheesecakechino )
- Buddha bowls, fruit, brownies, and build-your-own-chai pudding station (NEW GENERAL )
- muffins, iced tea and cold brew (The GoodWay Cafe Longwood FL )
- bagels with vegan cream cheese (Jeff’s Bagel Run )
- vegan / gf donuts (Parlor Doughnuts Orlando )
- iced tea (infusion tea | veg kitchen )
PLUS my family pulled no punches with their:
- hungry, hungry caterpillar finger sandwiches
- ants on a lot
- pasta salad martini glasses
- fruit skewers

- muisjes on toast

A huge thank you to all the vendors who donated items, to my mom for leading the organizing effort, to all the hands to planned the party (including pick ups and drop offs) and all the amazing people who showed up and indulged in all the yummy food! ❤️
I’m sure I’ll be posting more about each of these but I neededddddd to get something out asap so you could see how insanely beautiful things turned out!😍

How amazing are these??? Compassion Confection Co absolutely knocked it out of the park with these phenomenal cupcakes. Mind blown. The guests at my baby shower could not stop talking about them! ❤️
72 of these little potted plants were delivered today to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a New Little Sprout! 🌱
How absolutely perfect for Allison van Tilborgh | Orlando Vegan Foodie to have a veggie/plant themed shower to welcome her baby on the way! 🌱 And how absolutely honored I am to have been asked to be a part of this special event! 🥰
Each of these pots contained a different flavor, a variety of both classic and fruity flavors!

The Ube/Vanilla Soft Serve is Also 😍
Sampaguita Filipino - American Ice Cream - our very own Filipino ice cream parlor located on Mills 50 - is running a very limited time special of this DELICIOUS peanut hot fudge sundae 🤤🤤🤤
The Peanut and Fudge Sundae is is part of their Pet Appreciation Menu - dedicated the Graham, who was named after the Graham Cracker. 🐕
When ordered vegan, this sundae features vegan vanilla soft serve, peanut butter sauce, hot fudge, peanuts, crushed biscotti and graham crackers! 🍫
We also ordered their always-on-the-menu vanilla / ube vegan soft serve because… how can you not?
Their current vegan scoop flavors include:

- Mango Royale
- Coffee & Biskwit
- Calamansi Creamsicle Sorbet

The Salty Donut is currently running a seasonal special of this vegan Coconut Ube Donut that is out of this world 😍
I may be biased (I am 7 months pregnant after all), but this is probably my favorite vegan donut that The Salty Donut has ever had on rotation! 🤤🤤🤤
The actual dough is purple from the Ube - the whole thing is perfectly sweet and creamy and the coconut gives it a nice crunch! I will def be back!!!!!
