Turns out human performance can look a lot like this, too.
No workouts. No perfectly planned routine. Just a whole lot of walking (hello, 30,000-step days), exploring, eating good food and spending time with the people I love.
And honestly, that feels aligned with TriG.
Grit is knowing when to push.
Gratitude is recognizing how lucky you are to have moments like these.
Grace is knowing a few days away from your routine doesn’t undo anything you’ve built.
Human performance isn’t about performing every single day. It’s about building a body and a life that let you fully show up for what matters.
This week, that meant the UK with my family. I’d make that trade every time.
Did these freezer-friendly meals live up to the hype, or should they have stayed in the freezer?

I thought creating a logo would be the fun part.
Instead, I found myself learning Canva, watching tutorial after tutorial, second-guessing every font, every color, every design decision… and realizing that starting a business means becoming a beginner all over again.
I’m doing all of this while working a full-time corporate job, teaching yoga, creating content, and without a business degree. Some days it feels exciting. Other days it feels overwhelming.
But every new skill I learn is another brick in the foundation of the business I’m building.
No one starts as an expert. They become one by being willing to look like a beginner.
If you’re building something you’ve never built before, I hope this reminds you that you’re not behind, you’re learning.

Gyros at home? Absolutely.
This recipe from was so easy to make and packed with fresh flavor. Tender chicken, crisp veggies, creamy tzatziki…it’s one of those meals that tastes like you ordered takeout but is surprisingly simple to throw together.
If you’re looking to shake up your weeknight dinner routine, this one is definitely worth saving.
Growth isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it looks like sitting quietly with one question for months until the answer becomes impossible to ignore.
For me, that question has been:
How can I better serve the women who trust me?
This next chapter isn’t about leaving anything behind. It’s about bringing everything I’ve learned together in a way that helps women thrive… in their careers, in their relationships, and in their own lives.
Thank you for growing with me.
The older I get, the more I realized that nourishing ourselves isn’t about being good. It’s about having the strength and energy to show up for the life we’re building. Healthy eating isn’t another task on your to-do list. It’s one of the ways you protect your future self. What meal helps you feel your best during a busy week?

How do you start your day? Does it start by checking email, scrolling social media or listening to the news? Or do you tend to start the mornings with protecting your energy through reading, quiet contemplation or moving your body?
This week’s Saturday Taste Test is all about PopCorners Protein! We put two flavors to the test: Hickory BBQ and Cinnamon Delight. With 9 grams of protein per serving, these popped (never fried) snacks promise to be a better-for-you option—but we all know nutrition claims don’t mean much if they don’t taste good.
Did one flavor earn a spot in our pantry while the other left us wishing we’d grabbed regular PopCorners instead? You’ll have to watch to find out! Which one do you think came out on top?
From side hustle to CEO
Follow along as this 50-year-old corporate woman learns how to turn a side hustle into a profitable business…one lesson at a time.
Today isn’t about teaching.
It’s about starting.
For 25 years I’ve built a successful career in corporate America. Now I’m building something that’s completely my own.
The exciting part? I have no idea exactly what I’m doing.
I’m learning marketing.
IT skills.
Pricing.
Branding.
Budgeting.
Speaking.
Business strategy.
And probably making plenty of mistakes along the way.
Instead of pretending I’ve got it all figured out, I thought I’d invite you along for the ride.
Every week I’ll share one lesson I’m learning as I build a side hustle into a profitable brand. From the wins to the setbacks to the moments that make me wonder, “What was I thinking?”
If you’ve ever dreamed of starting something of your own or you’re simply curious what it really takes to build a business I hope you’ll come along.
Here’s to building something meaningful…one lesson at a time.
