Kadidja’s severe allergic reaction to braids was how she found out that almost all braiding hair sold contains toxic substances like lead, mercury, and cadmium.

This led her to create a mission to develop the first clinically tested, non-toxic, hypoallergenic braiding hair brand. She explains how important it to back up our claims with clinical trials to ensure safety for both myself and our customers.
