There’s a reason I called it Lunar. 🌙

I’ve always been fascinated by the way our ancestors looked to nature for guidance.

Before we had apps telling us when our periods were coming, there was observation.

Before we had shelves of synthetic products, there were plants.

Before we had words like “cycle syncing,” women were already paying attention to their bodies, the seasons, the moon, and the world around them.

And I think we’ve lost some of that connection.

Lunar. is my way of bringing some of it back.

Not because I believe we need to reject everything modern.

But because I believe ancestral wisdom, lived experience, and modern knowledge can exist alongside each other.

At the heart of Lunar. is a simple idea:

Your body is not separate from nature.

You are part of it. 🌿🌙

And maybe learning your cycle is one small way of remembering that.

Your period is only one part of your menstrual cycle. 🌙

And honestly? This is one of the first things I wish more women were taught.

Your menstrual cycle is a continuous process involving changing hormones, energy, cervical mucus, mood, appetite, and more.

Understanding those changes can help you recognize patterns in your own body instead of wondering, “Why do I feel completely different this week?”

The four phases are:

🩸 Menstrual
🌱 Follicular
✨ Ovulation
🌙 Luteal

You don’t have to become a cycle-tracking expert overnight. Start by simply noticing.

There was a time when I thought my period was basically just the few days I was bleeding.

Now I think about it very differently.

Your menstrual cycle is an entire rhythm and your body is communicating with you throughout it.

Here are three things I wish more women knew:

🌙 Your period is only one phase of your cycle.

🌙 Your symptoms are information worth paying attention to.

🌙 You don’t have to wait until something feels wrong to start caring for yourself.

You don’t need to become perfectly “in tune” with your cycle overnight.

Start small.

Notice.

Track.

Get curious.

And when something feels outside of your normal or is significantly affecting your life, don’t dismiss it. Talk to a healthcare professional.

Menstrual wellness isn’t about doing everything perfectly.

It’s about building a relationship with your body.
