I first met Darius back in May for a consultation. He let me know he was interested in loc extensions being installed at the sides and back of his head to have a fullhead of locs. At the time he didn’t have the 3-4 inches of hair I needed for an install. So I told him we’d need to meet in 2 months to see how much his hair had grown. By July we ordered the loc extensions hair and set his appointment for August for install. In this video I show you how the loc extensions were installed using the crochet method,washed to ensure security,his locs were retwisted & styled in loc two strands. He was most pleased with his results.

ARI🫧 is 2 months Loc’d now yall 🤩🫶🏽💦🌱

Arianna is two months into her starter locs journey. The locs at back of her head are locking at a noticeably faster rate than the top of her Locs. During this appointment, I educated her on the service known as instant locking. Instant locking is the process of creating the immediate tangling of her locs at the top her her head using the crochet needle. If it’s not something that affects the health of your locs my approach as a Loctitian is to educate and give you options instead of steering the wheel. Ultimately she chose to move forward with this service at her next appointment with me. During this service Ari received a vaca style- leaving her ready to slay in St. Maarten. 🏝️

Taylor ✨ is 1 year, 8 months Loc’d yall 🥹🔒✨💦🌱

We have officially entered the point in Taylor’s loc journey where she doesn’t need me as much. The last time I saw her was 3 months ago and as you can see her locs are flourishing. I pride myself on educating my clients on how to take care of their locs in between maintenance appointments with me so that they’re able to flourish. Fun Fact: I see majority of my clients with mature locs once every 3 months.

My clients all talk about the day I inevitably leave Pittsburgh as if they know it before I do. I’m glad I caught this specific reaction on camera 🤣. Chryssa is saying I set the standard for her in terms of knowing her locs could achieve the specific look she prefers (healthy locs, clean parts,dope styles). But chopping them off and saving them for reattachments and visiting me back home was hilarious 🤣.
