Why we’re transitioning to a lived-in blonde :
This new client came in with traditional highlights and lowlights, and after a thorough consultation, I suggested transitioning her to something softer, more dimensional, and easier to maintain.
She was also experiencing some breakage, so instead of continuing to highlight every 6–8 weeks, we’re slowly moving her toward a lived-in blonde.
This approach gives us a softer grow-out, less frequent lightening, less overlap on previously lightened hair, and allows us to focus more on maintaining the integrity of her hair.
And this is only appointment one.
