I sell crochet plushies and felt eyes! I also design crochet patterns! Hello! My name is Celina and I'm an ICU nurse that loves to knit and crochet.
I have crocheted since I was 6 years old and taught myself to knit at the age of 25. My mother also taught me how to cross stitch in my teenage years. I can also sew, which I also learned at the age of 6, but I've never been very good with the sewing machine. Knitting and crocheting have brought me so much happiness and stress relief over the years that I have started to delve into the world of designing. I have modified patterns as I've worked them without realizing that is apart of designing, modification, going away from the set pattern. I have done graphgans for crochet and knit over the years, but I am working on doing hats, blankets, scarves, shawls, and socks in the near future! I already have a amigurumi doll and 2 cowls I have designed out, with more to come. Please join me on this journey! I also will feature yarns from Etsy dyers that I purchase and any free pattern I am currently working on, even if they are not my own.

Happy Pattern Release Day to Danielle Smith for her pocket Eevelutions pattern!!!
I got to test Sylveon and Vaporeon and they are the absolute cutest!!! I will be working on making the rest of the Eeveelutions and Mimikyu versions for Game On Expo and TempeFanCon Tempe Public Library
The head, body and tail are essentially made in all one piece, with the only sewing is the ears, ribbons and bows. They work up very quickly! I did mine in blanket yarn and used 30mm eyes (the colors have not been released yet)
The pattern is out now on Etsy and Patreon so go grab your copy!!!

It’s Halloween costume time!!
Every year since my son was 2 years old (except last year) I have crocheted his costume.
Can you guess what he’s asked to be this year??!

This is a review of UwU Con 💕 2026
This is my personal experience and what information I have gathered from other vendors and artists.
First and foremost, this was the first con I’ve ever been in the red at. I have always made at least my costs back and usually 2-3X my booth fee in profit.
That was not the case here.
First let’s break down what I spent.
This was my first time doing to Uwu Con but I have a friend who did it last year and she did amazingly so I decided to try it instead of Horror Fest.
I did a 10x10 vendor booth which was $700
I live about 35-40 min from Mesa Convention Center so I spent about $45 on 1/2 tank of gas.
I also did buy a little food while I was there, especially Saturday which was a 12 hour day for me.
My total was $790 spent
So Friday was a half day, 4pm-8pm, however I was there from 2pm-8pm
I made $130.86 after I sold 2 plushies. - Geto found a new home ❤️
Saturday was a long day, 10am-8pm, I was there 8am-8pm
Saturday sales was $160, 2 plushies to a local vendor artist. The traffic was absolutely dead and I spent most of the day working on plushies.
Sunday was a shorter day, 10am-6pm and I was there from 9am-7pm
Sunday’s traffic was a little better and I made $370 from 6 plushies.
But my total was $660…..leaving me about $130 shy of just breaking even with my costs.
I prepared thoroughly for this con. I didn’t finish everything I wanted to but I had almost $10K in inventory and over 200 plushies.
I usually do well at other cons like Phoenix Fan Fusion and TempeFanCon.
At Phoenix Fan Fusion this year I made $2500 in 3 days which was 3X my costs including booth fee and parking for me and my husband.
What went wrong?
I feel a lot of it was lack of marketing and lack of VAs.
I tagged the con several times as I was making plushies and I never had a collaboration accepted. They didn’t start announcing VAs and guests until July, which is usually fine but there were hardly any posts until like a week before the con.
The VAs were also in a completely different building across the parking lot and signage was essentially absent. Th
