Mama Lisa’s Homeopathic Gems
With over 30 years in homeopathy, I want to share my knowledge about alternative medicine.
The first time I got into a real fight over a vaccine. We lived in a small town in Utah for almost 25 years. When my youngest was in second grade Chickenpox was making the rounds. Of course my kid got 'flagged' because she did not have the Varicella vaccine. She was dismissed from school and told to not return for 2 weeks.
This was so frustrating because the one thing I wanted for my daughter was to get chickenpox, and we tried, but the other vaccinated kids stayed in school and apparently I had the only unvaccinated child in the school.
I wrote a letter to the local health department and the Five County Health Department and was chastised for my 'vaccine hesitancy' and my inability to be a responsible parent. I told both entities that chickenpox early on usually gives lifelong immunity when the case is robust, and that the vaccine has yet to prove its efficacy. Long story short - no chickenpox for my daughter that year.
Skip ahead to middle school - not the ideal time for chickenpox but boy did she get it that time. It was a horrible case with pox everywhere you would expect and places that you wouldn't. Her symptoms matched Pulsatilla perfectly and she took the remedy twice a day for about 3 days.
Remedies for Chickenpox in order
1. Antimonium Crudum
Skin Presentation: Indicated for slow-developing, larger chickenpox vesicles that rapidly turn into pustules and mature into thick, hard, yellowish crusts or scabs. Physical Keynotes: A distinct, heavy white-coated tongue is almost always present. The patient often experiences a broad loss of appetite or nausea. Modality & Mind: Symptoms are significantly aggravated by cold bathing or contact with water. The individual is highly irritable, fretful, and intensely dislikes being looked at or touched.
2. Rhus Toxicodendron
Skin Presentation: Selected when the rash presents as intense, fluid-filled vesicles (clear blisters) sitting on an inflamed, red base. The itching is described as intolerable and relentless. Physical Keynotes: Marked by intense physical restlessness—the patient feels compelled to constantly change positions, move around, or toss and turn, even though the body aches. Modality & Mind: The itching and pain worsen significantly at night, during rest, or when exposed to cold air. Symptoms are temporarily relieved by warmth or a warm bath.
3. Pulsatilla
Skin Presentation: Used for milder eruptions where itching is prominent but highly variable, or when the rash flares up severely in a warm, unventilated room.Physical Keynotes: The patient exhibits a complete lack of thirst, even when a mild fever is present.Modality & Mind: Distinctly characterized by a highly tearful, sad, and clingy emotional state. The individual (frequently a child) demands constant comforting, reassurance, and physical presence, and feels noticeably better when exposed to open, fresh air.
4. Antimonium Tartaricum
Skin Presentation: Indicated when the chickenpox eruptions are slow to erupt or break out on the skin, often leaving the patient feeling deeply ill during the prodromal phase. Physical Keynotes: Accompanied by marked weakness, drowsiness, or exhaustion. The patient may suffer from a rattling, loose cough or feel excessively cold, sweaty, and nauseous. Modality & Mind: The individual feels worse from warmth and warmth of the bed, becoming exceedingly grumpy, miserable, and whining when disturbed.
5. Mercurius Solubilis
Skin Presentation: Chosen for the maturation stage of the disease, particularly if the blisters become large, look angry, fill with yellowish-green pus, or show signs of secondary bacterial infection. Physical Keynotes: Accompanied by excessive sweating (which does not relieve the discomfort), an increased flow of saliva (drooling during sleep), swollen lymph glands, and highly offensive body odor or breath. Modality & Mind: All symptoms, skin burning, and bone pains escalate sharply under the warmth of the bed or during the night hours.
And, there is a prophylactic homeopathic remedy called Varicella that can be given once a month during chickenpox season but must be obtained through a certified homeopath.😎
When my son was born, I got a lot of pressure to vaccinate him right away. I was very hesitant but did start him out with initial vaccines. As time went on and I had more children, I gave up on vaccination and moved towards Homeopathic Medicine. There are so many ways to treat and prevent common childhood illnesses with homeopathy.
Beginning soon I will be showcasing common illnesses that Western Medicine has been vaccinating for and give you alternatives for that treatment.
Before Kennedy's appointment, this kind of information was basically banned, but now.......well now, I am going to inform you.
