anatomy minute: the glabella complex 🤍
this little area between your eyebrows does a lot more than people think.
the glabella complex is made up of several muscles that work together to create frown lines, angry brows, and those deep “11s.” the main muscles include:
• corrugator – pulls the brows inward and down
• procerus – pulls the center of the brows down
• depressor supercilii – helps pull the inner brow downward
• frontalis – the opposing muscle that lifts the brows
understanding how these muscles work together is why anatomy matters so much. every face is different, so your treatment plan should be too.
