💗 WHY I CREATED LUX BEAUTY LASH ACADEMY
Lux Beauty Lash Academy wasn't created because I simply wanted to teach people how to apply lashes.
It was created because after years in this industry, I realized something:
✨ Learning the lash technique is only ONE piece of becoming a successful lash artist.
When I started my own journey, there were so many things I wish someone had taught me sooner.
How to build confidence behind the lash bed.
How to work through the frustrating days.
How to create an experience clients want to come back to.
How to value my time.
How to build clientele.
And how to think like a BUSINESS OWNER—not just a lash artist.
I learned so much through experience, mistakes, practice and simply refusing to give up.
And eventually, I knew I wanted to turn those lessons into something that could help the NEXT lash artist. 🎓
That’s why I created Lux Beauty Lash Academy.
I wanted to create the kind of training I would have wanted when I was starting out.
A place where beginners can ask questions without feeling embarrassed.
Where we don't expect perfection on day one.
Where you learn the WHY behind what you're doing—not just how to copy a lash set.
And where we can talk about what happens AFTER training too.
Because your certificate isn't the finish line.
It's the beginning. 💕
My goal isn't simply to create more lash artists.
✨ I want to create EDUCATED lash artists.
✨ CONFIDENT lash artists.
✨ Lash artists who care about the health of their clients' natural lashes.
✨ Lash artists who understand their VALUE.
✨ And lash artists who have the foundation to build something of their own.
If one student can walk into Lux Beauty Lash Academy wondering…
“Can I really do this?”
…and walk out thinking…
“This could actually become something.”
Then I'm doing exactly what I created this academy to do. 🥹💗
This is bigger than lashes for me.
It's about education.
It's about confidence.
It's about opportunity.
And it's about helping someone take that FIRST step toward creating something they're proud to call their own.
🎓 That is the heart behind Lux Beauty Lash Academy.

🎓✨ STUDENT TRANSFORMATION: FROM “I DON’T KNOW IF I CAN DO THIS…” TO “WAIT… I DID THAT?!” 💗
THIS is why I love teaching.
A student can walk into training nervous, second-guessing herself and wondering how she’s ever going to remember everything…
Isolation.
Placement.
Adhesive.
Mapping.
Direction.
Styling. 😅
And then something starts to CLICK. 💡
Instead of just watching someone else apply lashes, she starts understanding WHY she’s doing what she’s doing.
✨ Her isolation gets cleaner.
✨ Her placement becomes more intentional.
✨ She starts noticing the little details.
✨ Her hands become more comfortable with the tweezers.
✨ And most importantly—her CONFIDENCE starts growing.
Is she expected to leave training as a master lash artist?
NO. 👏🏽
And I never want my students to feel like they have to.
Training is where we build the FOUNDATION.
The real transformation continues every time you practice, correct a mistake, complete another set and refuse to give up when something feels difficult.
At Lux Beauty Lash Academy, I don't just want you to leave saying:
“I learned how to do lashes.”
I want you leaving saying:
💕 “I understand what I’m doing.”
💕 “I know what I need to practice.”
💕 “I can see my improvement.”
💕 “I’m excited to keep going.”
Because sometimes the biggest student transformation isn't just what happens on the lash bed…
It’s watching someone realize:
✨ “Maybe I really CAN do this.” ✨

✨ HOW TO BUILD YOUR FIRST LASH CLIENTELE ✨
You finished your lash training. You practiced. You bought your supplies. Your lash space is READY…
But your booking calendar is looking a little empty. 👀
Here’s something every new lash artist needs to hear:
✨ You don’t need hundreds of clients to start.
You just need your FIRST few—and you build from there.
Here are 6 ways I would start building my clientele TODAY 👇🏽
1️⃣ START WITH MODELS
Friends, family, coworkers—start asking!
Offer a model rate while you're building your speed, confidence and portfolio. Take clear before + after photos of EVERY set. 📸
2️⃣ POST YOUR WORK… EVEN IF YOU'RE NEW
Stop waiting until your work is “perfect” to market yourself.
Post your progress.
Post your lash sets.
Post educational tips.
Post behind the scenes.
People need to SEE you before they can BOOK you. 💕
3️⃣ GIVE YOUR CLIENTS AN EXPERIENCE
Your lashes aren't the only reason someone comes back.
Be professional. Be welcoming. Keep your space clean. Communicate clearly. Make booking easy.
✨ Great service gets you a client.
A great EXPERIENCE can get you a loyal client.
4️⃣ ASK FOR REVIEWS + REFERRALS
Your first happy clients can become some of your BEST marketing.
After their appointment, ask them to leave a review, tag your business or refer a friend.
Word of mouth is powerful! 🗣️💗
5️⃣ BE CONSISTENT
Posting once and disappearing for three weeks won't build your clientele.
You don't have to post every second of the day—but you DO need to keep showing up.
Consistency builds familiarity.
Familiarity builds trust.
Trust helps create BOOKINGS. ✨
6️⃣ DON'T BUILD YOUR BUSINESS ON DISCOUNTS
Introductory or model pricing can be helpful—but don't teach people to only book when you're running a special.
Build your clientele around your VALUE, your work and the experience you provide. 👏🏽
💗 AND REMEMBER…
Your first month might not be fully booked.
That's okay.
Your first 5 clients can become 10.
Those 10 can refer another 10.
And little by little, you're building something REAL.
Focus on getting better.
Focus on serving the clients you DO have.
Focus on being consistent.
The booked-and-busy lash artist you see today probably started with an empty calendar too. ✨
🎓 This is why at Lux Beauty Lash Academy, I want students thinking beyond simply learning how to apply lashes.
You're learning a SKILL—but you're also building the foundation for a BUSINESS. 💕

🚨 5 REASONS BEGINNER LASH ARTISTS STRUGGLE WITH LASHES
If you just started doing lashes and you're thinking…
“Why is this SO much harder than it looked in training?!” 😩
You’re not alone.
Lashing is a SKILL—and like any skill, it takes education, practice and patience to master. 💕
Here are 5 things I see beginner lash artists struggle with the most 👇
1️⃣ ISOLATION
Clean isolation is EVERYTHING. If you're rushing or grabbing multiple natural lashes, you can create stickies, discomfort and even damage.
✨ Slow down. Accuracy before speed.
2️⃣ USING TOO MUCH ADHESIVE
More glue does NOT mean better retention! 👀
Too much adhesive can create bulky bases, stickies and messy sets. Learning proper dipping technique makes a huge difference.
3️⃣ PLACEMENT
Direction, distance from the lash line and attachment all matter.
A lash can technically be “on”—but improper placement can affect comfort, retention AND the overall look of your set.
4️⃣ TRYING TO BE FAST TOO SOON
Please stop comparing your 3-hour beginner set to someone's 90-minute set after YEARS of experience. 💗
Speed comes AFTER technique.
Focus on creating clean, safe work first. Your timing will improve naturally with practice.
5️⃣ NOT PRACTICING ENOUGH
Taking a lash course is the beginning—not the finish line. 🎓
You have to PRACTICE what you learned.
Mannequin practice. Sponge practice. Models. Mapping. Isolation drills.
Those hours add up. 👏🏽
✨ HERE'S WHAT I WANT EVERY BEGINNER TO REMEMBER:
Your first sets aren't supposed to look like someone's 500th set.
Give yourself permission to LEARN.
Master your fundamentals.
Ask questions.
Invest in quality education.
Practice even when nobody is watching.
And most importantly…
DON'T QUIT because you're not perfect yet. 💕
Every lash artist you admire was once a beginner too.
🎓 At Lux Beauty Lash Academy, we focus on helping students understand the fundamentals behind beautiful, safe lash extensions—so you're not just copying a technique… you're learning WHY it works.
👇 BEGINNER LASH ARTISTS: What's your biggest struggle right now?
Isolation? Retention? Placement? Speed?
Drop it in the comments! I may make my next educational post about YOUR question. 💗

🎓✨ WHAT’S ACTUALLY INCLUDED IN LUX BEAUTY LASH ACADEMY TRAINING?
One of the biggest questions I get from future lash artists is:
“Okay… but what am I actually getting when I invest in lash training?” 👀
At Lux Beauty Lash Academy, the goal isn’t just to teach you how to apply lashes.
It’s to help you walk away feeling prepared to START. 💕
✨ Your training includes:
🎓 Hands-on lash education
Learn the fundamentals, proper application, isolation, styling, safety, sanitation, retention and more.
🖤 Professional lash supplies
Your training comes with supplies, so you already have tools to begin practicing your new skills.
👁️ Real practice + technique
Because watching someone lash and actually doing it are two completely different things. We focus on helping you understand the WHY behind the technique.
💗 Client experience education
Beautiful lashes matter—but learning how to create an experience that makes clients want to come back matters too.
📈 Business guidance
We talk about the things that go beyond the lash bed—pricing, getting clients, building your brand and turning your new skill into an actual business.
✨ Knowledge you can build on
You’re not expected to become a master overnight. Training gives you the foundation. Practice, consistency and continued education are what help you grow.
My goal is for you to leave Lux Beauty Lash Academy thinking:
“I KNOW what my next step is.” 👏🏽
Because investing in lash training isn't just about learning how to make a fan or place an extension…
It can be the beginning of an entirely new chapter. 💕

✨ WHAT I WISH I KNEW 8 YEARS AGO AS A LASH ARTIST… ✨
If I could sit down with the version of me who was just getting started in the lash industry, I’d tell her this:
💕 Your mindset matters just as much as your technique.
💰 Stop being afraid to charge for your time, talent & experience.
✨ A beautiful lash set gets clients in the door—but an AMAZING client experience keeps them coming back.
📈 Consistency will take you places motivation never could.
📚 Never stop learning. The beauty industry is always evolving, and you should too.
👑 Build a BRAND, not just a booking link.
And probably the biggest lesson?
You do NOT have to have everything figured out before you start.
There will be slow weeks. Difficult clients. Sets you’re not proud of. Moments when you compare yourself to artists who seem 10 steps ahead of you.
KEEP GOING. 💗
Eight years later, I can tell you that every client, every mistake, every training, every late night, and every lesson helped shape the lash artist and businesswoman I am today.
If you're a new lash artist reading this: give yourself permission to be a beginner. Master your craft, invest in your education, take care of your clients, and build something you're proud of.
Your future self will thank you. ✨

🎓✨ STUDENT SPOTLIGHT | FROM BEGINNER TO LASH ARTIST
One of my favorite parts of being a lash educator is watching a student go from:
“I don’t know if I can do this…”
to…
“Wait… I DID THAT?!” 🥹💕
Meet one of our amazing Lux Beauty Lash Academy students! 🎓
She came into training ready to learn, practice, ask questions, and challenge herself—and watching her confidence grow throughout the process is exactly why I love what I do.
During training, we worked hands-on through the foundations every new lash artist needs:
✨ Lash health & safety
✨ Proper isolation
✨ Correct placement
✨ Lash mapping & styling
✨ Classic, hybrid & volume techniques
✨ Application & removal
✨ Sanitation & client care
✨ Live-model practice
✨ Business & marketing fundamentals
But here’s something I remind ALL of my students:
You are not expected to be perfect on your first day.
Lashing is a skill.
Skills are developed through education + practice + correction + repetition.
My job as an educator isn’t simply to hand you a certificate.
It’s to help you understand WHY you’re doing what you’re doing so you can continue improving long after class ends. 💗
And seeing my students begin creating beautiful work on their own?
That’s the best part. 🥹🎓
👏🏽 Help me congratulate our newest Lux Beauty Lash Academy graduate in the comments!
And to the person reading this who’s been thinking…
“I would love to become a lash artist, but I’ve never done lashes before.”
Remember:
Every lash artist you admire started as a beginner.
Your first step isn’t being perfect.
Your first step is learning. 💕

✨ WHAT I’D BUY WITH $500 TO START MY LASH BUSINESS ✨
After completing training with Lux Beauty Lash Academy, I wouldn’t spend my first $500 buying more lash supplies—because the training already comes with the essentials needed to get started! 🙌🏽
Instead, I’d use that money to create a professional, comfortable experience for my clients:
💗 Lash bed or recliner — $150
💗 Adjustable stool — $50
💗 Professional lighting — $75
💗 Linens, pillows and bed covers — $50
💗 Sanitation and cleaning supplies — $50
💗 Booking system, business cards or marketing — $50
💗 Emergency and restock fund — $75
TOTAL: $500 ✅
The biggest beginner mistake is buying every lash product you see before you’ve built a steady clientele. Start with quality training, use the supplies included in your kit and invest the rest into your setup, client experience and marketing.
You don’t need a picture-perfect studio on day one. You need proper education, a clean and comfortable space, consistent practice and the confidence to begin. Your business can grow as your bookings grow! ✨
If you had $500 to start your lash business, what would you buy first? Drop your answer below! 👇🏽

🎓 YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A LASH ARTIST TO START LEARNING LASHES.
One of the biggest things I hear from aspiring lash artists is:
“But I’ve never done lashes before…”
And my answer is: That’s okay. You have to start somewhere. 💕
A quality beginner lash education should teach you the foundations step-by-step—not expect you to already know them.
As a beginner, your focus should be on learning:
✨ Lash health & safety
✨ Proper isolation
✨ Correct lash placement
✨ Application & removal
✨ Styling and lash mapping
✨ Classic, hybrid & volume techniques
✨ Sanitation and client care
✨ How to practice with purpose
✨ The basics of building your lash business
You don’t need to walk into your first class knowing how to create a perfect set.
That’s what training is for.
What you DO need is the willingness to learn, practice, accept feedback, and keep improving. 💗
At Lux Beauty Lash Academy, my goal is to give beginners a strong foundation and the hands-on education they need to leave feeling more knowledgeable, prepared, and confident about continuing their lash journey.
I’ve spent years in this industry, and one thing I want new artists to understand is this:
Every experienced lash artist was once a beginner.
So if you’ve been watching lash videos, following artists, or thinking “I would love to learn how to do that…” but fear or lack of experience has been holding you back—
this might be your sign to start. 🎓✨
