As an esthetician with her own business and also dealing with real health concerns, there is a lot of things just not worth my energy.

Summer hasn’t been slow for my business like it is for most and unfortunately my flare ups are horrendous when it gets hot outside. To prioritize my own well being and my clients, here’s just a few things I refuse to do.

The girls decided to make some updates to the studio and here’s what it looks like now. 🩷

A 6 month transition for wedding prep:
All standard custom facials with zero chemical peels.

My client came in to get her skin prepared for her wedding. She was struggling with non-inflamed and inflamed acne related to hormones as well as post inflammatory erythema and rosacea.

We started by first going to the dermatologist for a prescription topical for her rosacea that contains azelaic acid which also helped with her Post Inflammatory Erythema.

Next we focused on calming her skin down and calming down her inflamed acne. This took roughly 4 weeks to get the inflamed acne under control.

Once everything had calmed down, we increased her enzyme to something a little stronger so I could start really working on her non-inflamed acne. She has Hypermobility (HSD) so I had to be extra gentle due to the fact that she scars easier than most people. Because we have her on a lot of calming ingredients, this prevented more PIE from any of her breakouts and made clearing her PIE a lot easier.

Our next step is to start treating the hyperpigmentation she has and preventing since she’s prone to hyperpigmentation and work on her textured scarring.

This client was struggling with inflamed and non-inflamed acne as well as post inflammatory erythema.

We first started by getting her rosacea under control and because she’s not a candidate for chemical peels, we cleared her skin with custom facials.

This is another great example of when you work with someone who understands skin science, you can see big changes even with standard facials.

May 2026:

Amazing results in treating post inflammatory erythema.

The end of chemical peels but more nanojnfusion.

An MCAS flare up but a lot of whimsy despite it.
