Let’s lotion dot.
•
Lotion dots really are the perfect everyday thing. Now… this time of year DO NOT put them in your car! You’ll have a liquid lotion pool.
•
But what makes them the perfect every day thing? A little goes a long way. If you have heard me talk about the magic of lotion bars it all makes sense. You grab that bar rub it around in your hands and then rub just the perfect amount on your body.
•
But the bar looks gross after about 5-8 uses. The form changes. The pattern is gone. Your brain subconsciously starts saying ‘that doesn’t look good, don’t use it’. And that’s it for the amazing lotion bar.
•
Enter the dot. The mini. The perfect size. The cute, equally amazing, functional powerhouse. Usually 1 good rub and you have used it all. Maybe 2, but then it’s for sure gone and your container is left with perfect dots inviting you to jump in anytime.
•
You for the lotion dot. Cute. Smell great. Perfect at home. Perfect gift. Plus your skin AND brain will be happy about the dot.

What’s up Wednesday.
•
This weekend is gonna be fuuun!
•
If you want to see some great baseball, hit me up for the schedule. This roster is stacked!
•
These kids all show up and play. It’s going to be a great two days. One of the best parts of youth sports is seeing players who put in the work off the field and then come together on the field.
•
2 summers ago he played on the high school prep team as an incoming 8th grader. There were also incoming freshman. Toward the end of that summer the coach gathered up all the kids and said: Kash, tell us what your training schedule is. (He left out 2 days of training because he said he felt kinda bad…)
•
The coach then said: that is what it takes! What Kash is doing is what it takes to be a baseball player. Jojo is training that way too. If you are not doing that or willing to do that, you should probably find a new sport.
•
I know some folks did not like that, but dude was being honest!!! This weekend we play with hard working players!
•
People have funny perspectives about youth sports. Some people are: just want them to have fun. Sure 4-7 year olds should just have fun to try to activate the physical and competitive spirit. 8-12 year olds should be forming dedication and work ethic habits. 13+ should be working daily toward a goal.
•
Here is a fact that so many choose to forget. You know what the most fun part of a competitive sport is? Winning!!!! You know what the second most fun of a competitive sport is? Working your ass off and leaving it all on the field!
•
This isn’t a blue Powerade and otter pop kind of weekend play. It’s a protein and fat, magnesium, sauna blanket and red light recovery kind of weekend.
•
Going into it, my boy is stoked about his teammates and the play potential. These kids all show up. For themselves. For eachother. For their coaches. And a big shoutout to Coach Grant for putting together such a great group of kids, being the coaches they need that shows them emotional control, confidence and faith in their abilities and the fact that y’all are just great guys. Appreciate you!

So yesterday was my birthday.
•
Spent the morning doing some farm chores, pulled out the chicken coop and gave it a good pressure wash. Little bit of work…
•
Then we headed to the movies. We saw Toy Story 5. It was great. I was reminded that my sense of humor really is that of a 4-7 year old and I’m totally ok with it!
•
Here is a hint: if you want me to have fun, invite me over and tell me laffy taffy jokes! Ready to fall out right now thinking about it.
•
We ended up eating popcorn so we had to skip dinner 🤣 But we hit up Mr Frostie because no birthday is complete without cake and ice cream. Then we came home and put the other half in the freezer.
•
My boy gave me this rad recipe box I wanted. (Pro tip! Set up a budget for your kids and let them know if there is something you REALLY want. ) I really wanted this box, so I told him. But my boy knows me so well he always gets me something great.
•
Funny story about age markers. When I was dating my son’s dad and he turned 30 I had a little freak out that “how was I old enough to date someone 30!” A few days ago I saw a photo of Dick VanDyke and it said he’s 100. The next photo showed him walking with his wife, 54! I said out loud: oh s**t! Then thought, oh man, I’m like 4 days away from that!!!!
•
So apparently the dating pool just really opened up😉
•
Thanks for all the birthday love!

Did y’all have a fun birthday weekend?
•
250 was a big one! I did some different things than normal and I saw so much fun being had everywhere I went.
•
Part of Saturday was spent San Diego Harley-Davidson where I got to chat and visit with some awesome peeps.
•
Follow up message yesterday with these pictures and since they turned out so cool I thought I would share.
•
The whole point of these paint kits are to let some of your creativity out, because the science shows that gets us filled with dopamine and we carry on happier. We also get a little memento to keep as decor should we choose. All in all it’s a great thing.
•
You can pick a couple up at live events, one of the stores, or at my HomeShed. But you can also special order party favors.
•
Birthday parties. Baby showers. Wedding showers. Just because parties. Super fun options. Name boxes are also available. Fun and affordable to keep that party budget on track.
•
Keep sharing your experiences, fun, and results with me!!!! Y’all know that’s what kicks in the inspiration to keep making new and awesome things for you.
Loving my corn farmer status!
•
Looking to be the most successful corn, crop I’ve grown to date

Let’s talk detox.
•
First off, we all need it! Our food, our air, the chemicals in our clothing, household products, any injectables or medications. The ickies are everywhere.
•
Then toss in our body chemistry. Process. Hormones.
•
HOLY COW!
•
But this little bag helps you out. It has all the things to pull stuff out and flood stuff in.
•
Disclaimer: I am not a medical doctor. This is not medical advice. I present no scientific data that supports any of my opinion.
•
The kinda stuff you have to do when this isn’t going in for FDA approval. BUT here is my experience.
•
I love a detox. Love a fast. We can all benefit in the regular. You know I’ve been having quite a recovery from my accident 2.5 years ago. I took a peptide journey to help heal all the internal mess. SUPER helpful.
•
Along with that help came a couple of side effects. Rather than waking at night from the pain, I would wake up hot! Best description would be hot flash. Didn’t love that. Time of life could be factor. Peps could be factor.
•
So I did a foot soak. Slept really well. Did another. Slept even better! Decided I’d do the whole bod. 2 baths later I was completely different. Waited to see what would happen. It took SIX WEEKS to have the hotness creep in. I also started peps again to try to get farther down the healing path.
•
So I brought it to y’all!!! Boron is a pretty major thing. You can research it. Use this bag once as a tub soak or twice as a foot soak.
•
You can grab it live this Saturday San Diego Harley-Davidson Pangaea Outpost and at the HomeShed.

What’s up Wednesday.
•
There is a thing that happens when you live in a military town.
•
People leave.
•
It sucks.
•
About a decade ago our favorite military peeps moved away and I thought ‘not gonna do that again’.
•
But in May 2024 we walked onto a baseball field. I sat watching those games and met the cutest, sweetest, loveliest woman I had met in quite a long time. It was Kasie Brown Sports Photography and I had no choice but to think of her as my friend.
•
At the time she had just started taking pics. She took the most amazing pictures of our players. That was awesome. But what stood out more was how the goodness of her heart radiated through her being.
•
We got to know her, her talent, the beautiful family she and her husband are raising.
•
What was spectacular to watch was the talent she inherently has behind the camera! VERY QUICKLY she has gone into the professional sports world and worked with the top athletes and pro sports leagues in San Diego. Like the big deal kind of stuff that you can’t even share on your socials.
•
Lots of professional growth but in real life, lots of beautiful growth there as well. It has been such a joy having this fam be a little part of our journey. I’m so proud to know Kasie and to have witnessed this part of life.
•
I will say that North Carolina is pretty lucky to have such a gem head back to her home state.
•
No pro sports teams just down the road like here, but there is a spectacular talent that just rolled into town and I am certain that once word gets out that she is there, all that love she puts into what she does will be spread far and wide.
•
Always holding the best for you and all those that you love. I can’t wait to hear and see about all that comes during this new phase of life.
•
Moral of the story… sometimes it really is worth making those connections that you know will move on.

I hear all the time… tallow is the new thing.
•
It’s actually the OG! Our greatest grannies in their cotton nighties used to render the suet for all things.
•
Cooking. Soap. Skin care.
•
Important things to remember:
Our skin in our biggest organ.
Chemicals on our skin increase our toxic load.
Some products contain forever chemicals.
Clean and natural is pretty great.
•
Tallow moisturizes your skin in a way that is the most organic matter possible. Structure similarities have your skin receiving tallow like it’s a best friend, so excited to see each other.
•
I have people telling me all the time that I should raise my price. The results they are getting with the tallow face cream is not only feeding their skin but in many cases, resolving skin issues.
•
Here is the thing, I love having products that are affordable! So until raw ingredient prices increase, it’s stays just $20.
•
