A little over a year ago, I said to myself...

According to my biological age test, I was 16 years younger than my chronological age.

Sometimes the worst place you can be...
is in your own head. 🤯
~ Overthinking.
~ Worrying.
~ Replaying conversations.
~ Imagining worst-case scenarios.
I’ve learned that when my thoughts start spiraling, the answer usually isn’t to think harder.
✨ 5 ways I get out of my head ✨
1. Move.
A walk, yoga, lifting weights, dancing in the kitchen... movement changes your state.
2. Get outside.
Sunshine, fresh air, ocean, trees. Nature has a way of putting everything into perspective.
3. Create something.
Write, cook, garden, paint, organize a room. Creation shifts your focus from rumination to action.
4. Do something kind.
Send a text. Offer encouragement. Smile at everyone. Service is one of the fastest ways to shift your focus from yourself.
5. Practice gratitude.
It’s hard to stay stuck in fear when you’re focused on what’s already good. If I try to think about 3 things I’m grateful for…I can’t help but think about more.
When I start overthinking, I remind myself:
✨Get out of your head.
✨Get into your body.
✨Get into the present.
That’s where the glow lives. ✨
