My interpretation of Tapestry of Beauty was built entirely by hand, with every element on her head created from hair and intentionally curated into the final design. The goal was never simply to create a beautiful hairstyle, but to create a complete visual story.

This piece wasn’t selected as a finalist, but I’m incredibly proud of the artistry, craftsmanship, and vision behind it. Sometimes the work you’re most proud of isn’t the work everyone connects with the same way you do.

So grateful to Lisa Vann & Intercoiffure America Canada for opportunity to express myself in a way that pushes the boundaries of what we as hairstylists usually do behind the chair.

Either way, I’ll keep making art that challenges me, pushes my craft, and makes me see the world a little differently.
