☀️Maple Valley Kids Festival: Saturday, July 18th from 10am to 2pm at Lake Wilderness Park (22500 SE 248th St, Maple Valley, 98038).
☀️North Bend Downtown Block Party: Saturday, July 18th from 12pm to 8pm at North Bend Way, between Bendigo Blvd & Ballarat Ave.

As we anticipate the launch of our new Maple Valley Recology Store, we are continuing to host pop-up events. On Friday, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/7, 8/14, Maple Valley residents can drop off limited quantities of the following hard-to-recycle items: batteries, fluorescent bulbs, textiles, books, electronics, small appliances, Styrofoam, and small propane canisters. Please note: we will not accept any other hard-to-recycle items beyond those listed.

The warm weather makes it the perfect time for a refreshing sweet treat! Once you've finished your popsicle, toss the wooden stick into the compost bin and help support a sweeter future.

There may be only two weeks left in July, but Plastic-Free Bingo can be played all year long! We challenge you to complete a Bingo by committing to just 4 sustainable practices this month. How many squares can you check off before July ends? 🌎♻️

Celebrating Pride in our community! 🌈 Recology employee-owners had an wonderful time participating in the 52nd Annual Seattle Pride Parade on Sunday, June 28th. Thank you, Seattle PrideFest!

We’re excited to share our 2026 Sustainability Update!

Highlights Include:
⚡95% of the fuel powering our vehicles and equipment came from renewable or alternative sources—achieving our 2028 target three years early!
♻️ 1.6 million tons of recyclable and compostable materials diverted—49% more material recovered than discarded in our landfills
🏆 12 drivers honored in the National Waste and Recycling Association’s national Driver of the Year competition, including three First Place Awards
