There is no longer ANY TIME TO WASTE. The climate is deteriorating in real time. We are not paying en It felt triumphant! But since then? The Amazon is burning.
In September of 2014, we in the hundreds of thousands to call for climate action. The full panoply of activism was represented – folks in polar bear suits - Save the Whales delegations – LGBTQIA marchers - clergy - Girl Scouts - ragin’ grannies - beekeepers to riverkeepers, in baby carriers and with walkers, using mobility devices or strutting on stilts: we flooded the streets and we raised our voices together! Since then, we elected Donald Trump, who pulled us out of the Paris Accords, slashed regulations, and opened ANWAR for drilling. Wildfires devastate the West each summer. Hurricane season off the charts. In September 2018, average CO2 ppm were 408.3 - and in 2020 we were at 410.80ppm so far for the the same month. WE ARE NOT WINNING THIS FIGHT. #HairOnFirePeople - we are out of time to waste.

WINTER IS COMING!
That's supposed to sound portentous. I never watched Game of Thrones, though.
Climate Brief: Winter is Coming Having never seen an episode of Game of Thrones, I must shamefacedly admit that to me, “winter is coming” conjures up images of chilly sleet, bracing rain, low-scudding clouds, and the opportunity to bedeck my house with candles and masses of green...

No more "blah, blah, blah." Just done with all the happy green talk from politicians. They've all learned to throw "climate" into their normal talking points, and I don't believe that most of them actually deeply understand what we need to do, and how FAST we need to do it.
Climate Brief: I'm With Greta. "Blah Blah Blah" Isn't Cutting It. We must DEMAND more. In a speech at a Youth4Climate summit in Milan, Italy, last Tuesday, climate change activist and all-around badass Greta Thunberg gave voice to what many of us have been thinking. Build back better. Blah, blah, blah. Green economy. Blah blah blah. Net...
