happy mothers day to all the mamas out there💝🫂🌷💐
whether you got a big display of affection or everyone forgot, just know you mean the world to your little ones. you are the reason they are here.
you gave up your body and grew them for 9 months. you ate well, gave up all of the bad things you shouldn't be eating drinking, and nurtured them. then on that special day we went to the hospital.
Some of us had the huge epidural needle in our back, some of us went the natural way and went without. I don't know how yall did it, but you did it for your baby.
If you had a c section, you had to lay on that bed and forget about showering. lol the second time with my son, I took a shower without anyone knowing because I felt gross.
Some of us are expected to breast feed, and some of us cannot no matter how much we want to or how hard we try. I'll never forget how hard I was on myself for not being able to.
And then you get to hold your baby. after all that time in your tummy, and you miss it when they get bigger.
And its sad that some of us still don't get the happy mothers day text. 🤷♀️ its the thought that counts. without mothers, the world wouldn't be the same.

Rivera high school on lockdown. Conflicting reports if it has been lifted or not. Kids are still in rooms. Parents waiting outside. Unclear whether 1 shooter or multiple. 1 male has been apprehended. Reports there were shots fired in band hall. No injuries or deaths reported as of now. Troopers, sheriffs, pd on scene. Please don't escalate the situation. I'm pretty sure law enforcement is trying their best to figure out what is happening.

Visited .restauranttx at 937 N Expy (there's no location listed for this exact spot) last Thursday because this is my mom's favorite place and it is exceptionally clean!
she had told me there was a buffet, which there isn't on Thursday, but they did have lunch specials. Regular Mexican buffet is Tuesday, Wednesday 11-3 pm
I got the Tampiquena, which the special comes with all you can eat salad bar and a soup. Their soup seemed like their own version of chicken noodle/fideo. my bf got the pirata taco, which featured fajita, cheese, grilled onions, and avocado.
we also got the panchos as our appetizer.
overall great experience, but we're looking to go for the seafood buffet on Fridays!
