Dynamic Integrative Therapies
Dynamic Integrative Bodywork School offers a Massage & Bodywork Certificate leading to licensure in WA State.
Approved by WA DOH and Workforce Training & Education Board
Would you like to go to school for one year and come out ready to get a license to have a job that you can keep for the rest of your life?
In Massage school, you will learn a ton, and everything you learn will be something you will use in your job for as long as you stay in this career.
If you get bored in your career, you can find continuing education classes to take that will challenge your mind and heart to excel and keep you interested in the work that you’re doing.
And you get to help people every day and be thanked by every customer that sees you.
Can you think of any other career that would bring that kind of fulfillment?
Go to the link in my bio to find out how you can study this starting in August!
Massage therapy is a career that you can take anywhere, and there are endless rabbit holes. You can go down to increase your skills.
In a massage and bodywork career, you get to work with people one-on-one to help them feel better.
Many people who leave my office after a session thank me for my work, tip me, tell their friends about me, text me to tell me how amazing they feel days later… There’s no end to the kudos you receive in this career that’s for sure!
To see someone go from being bent over in pain to standing up straight and walking out of the office with very little pain is something most people don’t get to experience in their day at work. But we get to experience it often!
Are you thinking about changing careers? If so, consider what it would feel like to work in this capacity and help people on a daily basis while you make a decent living for yourself and set your own schedule and work in the field that you actually studied… Something most college graduates don’t get to do.
If you’re interested in a career and massage therapy and bodywork, check out my website at the link in my bio and get in touch with me to see whether my school would be a good fit for you.
I am passionate about what I teach, I am present in all of the classes, teachers, who will work with me, will be well trained in the methods that I’m teaching so that they can support you in your learning journey.
Let’s change healthcare in Spokane and give the people in our community. What they need for their health and well-being.
The pelvis is the foundation of the body. So many problems in the body started at the pelvis and need to end with the pelvis.
At my class July 16-18 in the Spokane area, learn how to treat clients with low back pain, migraines (yep the key to those is in the pelvis), hip/knee/ankle problems, neck problems and even thoracic problems.
Pregnant and postpartum clients? Yes they DEFINITELY need this work too!
Go to the link in my bio (or on the video 😂) to sign up.
Can’t spare the cash? Reach out about payment plans. I’ll work with you.
I hope to see you there. Our community needs more of this work!!

Pelvis Class registration is live on my website!
Go to DiBodyworkSchool.org to reserve your spot before they are all taken.
Given the response to the email I sent out last week, I know this class will be a popular one, so don’t delay if you want to attend.
We will look at the relationship of the pelvis to the whole body, and watch as we work to see how our bodies change as we do the techniques.
This class is a must for anyone who has clients with low back pain, knee pain, ankle pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, and of course any pregnant or postpartum clients!
We will look at how to use the principles from Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation, as well as others to free up the restrictions that keep the body in pain.
This is a trauma-informed class, and we will see how to use this work to calm the nervous system and help our clients get to a place where healing can happen.
If you’re curious but want reassurance that this class will benefit you, feel free to call, text, email, or reach out through my website. I will personally get back to you to answer your questions.
I absolutely love teaching this amazing work, and make it my personal aim to reach every student in the room so you can take the work back to your office with you right away and use it to help your clients.
I hope to see you there!
Scope of practice is so important for us to remember.
It’s inevitable that we will have some clients who have emotional releases, so it’s important to know how to bring closure to that release and move forward with the session.
I’m curious what you all think of this. It’s a huge topic in ethics that we shouldn’t turn into armchair psychotherapists. It’s not in our licensure, and it’s not healthy or advisable for us to be acting as if it is.
Yet we still stay compassionate and present with our clients.
How do you personally handle it when a spontaneous emotional release happens in your treatment room?
Bones should be soft. If they feel feel hard or rigid, they need treated.
Reading my blog about what makes bones, rigid, and why it’s so important to soften them up.
They should feel like a wet sponge, not a hard, dry sponge. They are, after all, 65% water!

I saw this shot while I was walking around to each table to give individual support to each student as they practiced the techniques they were learning. I just had to share it with you.
Because it is a sign that when you love what you do, good things happen. 😊
The group of therapists I taught this weekend were all very engaged in learning. Even though the concepts I was teaching them were new to most of them, they all had open minds and hearts, and took in the information and got it into their hands quite quickly, I thought.
Classes like this make me remember why I teach. I love sharing the things that have kept me in the manual therapy world for over 20 years. The skills that really get your attention, and make you see that what you’re doing really matters. It helps so many people to have better health. It’s worth taking the time to learn and practice and keep showing up every day to see who comes in your door and how you’re going to increase their health today.
I love what I do in the office, and the only thing better is sharing it with others so they can also have the skills that have helped me make a difference in people’s lives.

Not all massage therapy education creates the same kind of practitioner.
I wrote a blog last night about what I believe actually matters in hands-on training — beyond just hours, tests, and checking boxes.
If you’re considering continuing education or massage school, I think this conversation matters.
You can read it on my website.
