From her natural hair to the foundation, installation, and finished look, I wanted to show y’all a little bit of the PROCESS behind this one!

We started her microloc journey with extensions for added length while establishing her new locs. As her journey progresses, we’ll continue to make adjustments based on what works best for her natural hair.

One thing about me, I’m going to pay attention to the HAIR first. Healthy hair and a strong foundation will always be the priority. 💕

She originally had traditional locs but was ready for a completely different look. We started by cutting her traditional locs down to a shorter length, then carefully combed out the remaining locs to preserve as much of her natural hair as possible.

From there, we completed her microloc installation with extensions, giving her the length and versatility she wanted while starting a brand-new loc journey. 🤎
