Today, I’m spilling the beans on how this makeup magic all began! Here are facts on how I got started as a makeup artist:

✨ Ever since I could hold a makeup brush, I’ve been obsessed with all things beauty! What started as a hobby quickly blossomed into a lifelong passion. My mom was a huge influence on the beauty world. She would do her own hair color and nails.

✨ My journey officially kicked off when I enrolled in beauty school! I started school while I was a senior at high school. Even tho beauty school didn’t offer much makeup skills, I learned my other hairstyling craft.

✨They say practice makes perfect, and boy, did I practice! Whether it was experimenting with bold eyeshadow looks or perfecting the art of contouring, I was always working on my skill. In the beginning you would find me working on photoshoots and fashion shows just to practice whenever
I could.

✨A few years into my career, I went to L.A to learn from a celebrity makeup artist which was probably the coolest experience. Originally I thought I wanted to work in movies and do special FX makeup but bridal really became my focus once I return back to Michigan.

✨ Fast forward to today, and I’m living my dream every single day! From glamming up clients for special events to sharing my makeup tips and tricks with the world, I’m grateful for every twist and turn that led me here.

Turning my passion into my profession, it was oh-so-worth-it! Taking that leap of faith and diving headfirst into the world of freelance makeup artistry was the best decision I ever made. 🚀💋
