🎓 HAIR SCHOOL WITH HEIDI — GLP-1 EDITION

Does a GLP-1 actually cause hair loss? 🤔 Not exactly.

For many people, the bigger issue is what’s happening to the body while taking it — especially rapid weight loss, eating fewer calories, lower protein or nutrient intake, and the physical stress of a major body change.

That stress can push more hairs than usual into the resting/shedding phase, causing a temporary type of shedding called telogen effluvium. And here’s the tricky part… you may not notice the shedding until a few months after the trigger. 😳

Okay, let’s talk about one of my favorite steps that I think a lot of people skip in their hair routine.

LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER!

This is SEVEN Haircare’s Gazar Leave-In Conditioner.
Think of your regular conditioner as something you rinse out, but your leave-in? That’s the extra protection and conditioning that stays with your hair after you get out of the shower.

It helps keep your hair hydrated, improves manageability, reduces tangles, and makes brushing so much easier.

And here’s something I want you to remember: when your hair is tangled and you’re fighting that brush, you’re creating unnecessary tension that can contribute to breakage.

We want to preserve those ends, not fight with them!
Apply it to your clean, damp hair, focusing on your mid-lengths and ends, comb it through, and leave it in. No rinsing!
