For many years I contemplated what it is to be a mother — from the moment I gave birth into the moment I lost my own mother - I struggled with this role as it came into my life, and now I embody this role fully as I watch myself as a fairy godmother to my beautiful foster cat and her baby kittens. I love this energy of birth and mothering.
And I’m reminded that there is mothering in all forms of life, all walks of life, all animals and all beings. Men or women can choose to mother, to nurture, to nourish, to support, to sacrifice, to give themselves for others.
This is a mothering energy that the Earth carries — this infinite compassion, infinite love, infinite forgiveness.
Thank you to all those who are mothering out there, whether you are male or female, young or old, whether you have had your own children or not. We all have this within us — this ability to nurture and love and to give.
Thank you all for your dedication, your devotion, your sacrifice, so that we can nourish and raise the young into beautiful, magnificent beings.
Namaste.

NAD is everywhere right now in longevity medicine.
IV drips. Weekly protocols. Clinics built around “energy” and “recovery.”
But NAD is not simply fuel.
It is a signaling molecule that influences mitochondrial function, DNA repair, inflammation, circadian biology, and neurotransmitter balance.
In clinical practice, responses are highly variable.
Some patients experience improved energy and cognitive clarity.
Others develop headaches, fatigue, anxiety, or sleep disruption.
This is not random.
It reflects underlying biology—particularly genomic and systems-level differences in how NAD is produced, consumed, and cleared.
In my latest Substack, I break down:
* why NAD responses diverge
* the genomic pathways that determine benefit vs. risk
* the myth of “pushing through” symptoms
* what those symptoms are actually telling you physiologically
* and why precision matters now more than ever in longevity medicine
I approach this work as a clinical pathologist, IFM Certified practitioner, Master’s trained in Nutrition Science, and Peptide I & II Certified (A4M), with a focus on genomics and systems biology.
NAD can be a powerful intervention.
But without context, it becomes a protocol instead of a therapy.
The difference is precision.

There is a profound weight placed on pathology.
Every surgeon. Every clinical team. Every patient ultimately relies on the pathologist’s report.
That final interpretation defines the diagnosis.
And often, the entire trajectory.
I remember sitting at the microscope thinking:
We’ve built entire textbooks of disease based on what we can see.
Patterns. Shapes. Stains.
Often subjective. Often incomplete.
What if this isn’t the full truth?
That question became deeply personal as I watched my own mother pass from cancer.
We were looking at the disease after it had already declared itself.
After the biology had shifted.
After it was too late.
And I kept wondering—
If we had the technologies we are building now…
If we had understood her biology earlier, at a molecular level…
Could we have changed the outcome?
Today, even pathology is evolving—moving beyond morphology toward molecular signatures, genomics, and next-generation sequencing (NGS).
This is the shift:
from morphology → mechanism
from reactive → precision
So why are we still waiting for disease to manifest?
Yes—there are concerns: privacy, data ownership, insurance.
But avoiding this data doesn’t eliminate risk.
It limits visibility.
Your genomic data is yours. You decide how it’s used.
Medicine is moving toward precision—toward understanding biology earlier and more accurately.
The question is whether we engage with it.
For those interested in their own Whole Genome Sequencing, I offer physician-led genomic consultations through Mimansa Longevity.

Over 200 million people worldwide are affected by thyroid disorders. In the U.S., 1 in 8 people will develop one—yet many remain undiagnosed or continue to feel unwell despite “normal” labs.
Why?
Because the current model is narrow.
The Problem with “Normal” Thyroid Labs
Thyroid function is typically assessed using:
TSH
Sometimes Free T4
A common TSH range is 0.4–4.5 mIU/L, based on population averages.
But these ranges are not enough.
They reflect what is common, not optimal
Include people with early or undiagnosed dysfunction
𝗗𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀
Measure signaling—not cellular thyroid activity
So patients can be “normal” on paper—and still symptomatic.
The Insurance Gap
Most insurance models:
Cover basic screening (TSH ± T4)
Require abnormal values before further testing
𝗗𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿:
F𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗧𝟯 𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝟯
N𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀
G𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀
M𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲
This means subclinical 𝗱𝘆𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱.
The Thyroid Is Not a Standalone System
Thyroid function depends on:
Adrenal health (cortisol)
S*x hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone)
Gut microbiome
Liver metabolism
Nutrients
Cellular energy (mitochondria)
For example:
Stress can block T4 → T3 conversion
Estrogen can reduce free hormone availability
Gut imbalance can impair conversion and immunity
𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝘅 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀
Why Two Patients Feel Different
Genomics adds another layer:
DIO2 affects T4 → T3 conversion
COMT influences stress response
MTHFR affects detox and methylation
The microbiome also matters:
~20% of thyroid conversion happens in the gut
It regulates inflammation and nutrient absorption
Two people with the same labs can have very different physiology.

What would life look like if you actually cared about getting old?
If you truly had a vision of yourself aging gracefully and beautifully—living as long as possible with health and vitality, without pain, with everything functioning optimally—until the day the Creator decides is your last?
How would you make decisions differently if you knew what to eat, when to eat it, how to exercise, and you actually built your daily routine around it?
What would it be like if you knew exactly what to ask for financially—and structured your life in a way that supports YOUR future, your family, and your legacy?
This is the vision of longevity for women. You can have it all.
And yet, many of us have lived short-term—told to “live in the moment,” without truly planning for what comes next. Relying on someone else to be there for us. This seems irrational yet we have accepted the as our identity. Why? due to fear of aging. That fear is taking over your future and creating it.
As a longevity medicine physician, I will tell you this clearly:
The future of your health is something you can influence NOW and it will move the needle.
BUT once the body begins to deteriorate—when toxins accumulate, cells mutate, and degeneration sets in—it becomes much harder to live without pain and suffering.
So, I invite women who have not yet explored hormone health, bioidentical hormone therapy, or truly aligned ways of living to ask:
“Why have I not?”
Often, it comes down to worthiness.
To self-love.
Choosing short-term pleasure over long-term quality of life.
So what do we truly value? Is it REAL quality?
The opportunity to change is here. Now.
I host a live Q&A every Thursday.

Longevity Must Be Accessible to All
by Dr. Mimansa MD
We’ve been shown a future in films like Elysium and Snowpiercer—where a small group survives in controlled, high-tech environments while the world outside collapses.
It’s a compelling idea: that with enough control—clean air, purified water, advanced medicine—longevity can be preserved for a few.
But this is not how human biology works.
In my latest Substack piece for Mimansa Longevity (link in bio), I explore why longevity is not an isolated outcome—it is a systems-level phenomenon.
At the biological level, genes that regulate stress, inflammation, metabolism, and even behavior—such as FKBP5, NR3C1, and OXTR—are constantly responding to the environments we live in and the relationships we are part of.
When those environments are dominated by chronic stress, trauma, or instability, these pathways shift:
* inflammation increases
* stress signaling remains activated
* metabolic and immune systems begin to break down
War is an extreme example of this.
It is not a natural state for the human body—it is a state of prolonged biological dysregulation.
And that dysregulation does not stay contained to one group or one place.
Even the idea of creating fully controlled environments does not solve this.
Take the Amazon rainforest—a complex, living system built over millions of years. Its function depends on the interaction between soil, microbes, plants, animals, and climate. If you try to extract and recreate it elsewhere, it loses the very properties that make it work.
Human biology is no different.
We depend on:
* diverse microbial exposure from real environments
* natural light cycles that regulate our physiology
* nutrient systems rooted in living ecosystems
* and human connection that stabilizes stress responses
These are not things we can fully replicate or isolate in a bubble.
So the idea that longevity can be preserved for a few—while the broader system remains under stress—is not supported by biology.
Longevity must be accessible to all.
I explore this more deeply in my latest piece:

For women who are done not feeling at their best—and know their body is capable of more.
Dry brittle breaking hair.
Hair loss.
Skin dryness.
Loss of skin integrity.
Loss of collagen.
Thinning skin.
Blemishes, redness, patches, and dark pigmentation.
Loss of muscle mass.
Weight redistribution around the abdomen.
Thinning through the limbs.
Loss of muscle.
Low s*xual energy.

These are not separate issues.
They are signals.
At the root: your hormone harmony.
You can wear a mask or you can get to the root cause. You deserve to feel your best AND have it last.
So the real question becomes:
How are your hormones flowing?
Not just your lab values.
Not just “normal” vs “abnormal.”
But the flow, rhythm, and communication across your entire system.
Kosha Flourish is a holistic precision hormone program designed to support refinement, alignment, and true physiological harmony.
Most women are told everything is “fine.”
But optimal living happens in the precision within the range—where the system is tuned into harmony.
Inside Kosha Flourish:
• Precision hormone ecology (thyroid, adrenal, and s*x hormones)
• Gut–hormone axis and metabolic alignment
• Circadian rhythm and nervous system regulation
• Natural-first strategies with optional deeper clinical support
• Ongoing group guidance within a curated, high-level community
This is about restoring flow, coherence, and full expression.
