CAN YOU PIVOT EASILY?

The past few mornings and a few more I cannot sit on our balcony here at Glenaire Continuing Care Retirement Community, because they are fixing a problem on our ! Hooray 🙌!!

So my is to sit in my bedroom in the air conditioning, pull up my blinds, still overlook , drink my coffee, and read my book.

Not too much of a hardship at all!

But thinking about pivoting.

Can you do it easily (pivot) or are you locked into routines and when that is disrupted so you go bonkers?

Think back to rhe year 2020. We ALL had to pivot didn’t we?

And some of those pivots were really good!

For me it was:

** Learning a new tool called zoom to not lose my business yet still be able to communicate in a different manner! (BTW, I do my business 85% from my home now)!

** Learned how to do FaceBook Lives!

** Learned how to order food online and have it delivered.

** Learned that I do NOT have to be busy to enjoy life.

** Learned how to slow down.

And tons more.

So what pivots have you HAD to do and now continue to do?

Yesterday was Glenaire Continuing Care Retirement Community’s College Colors Day!

We celebrated at with sliders and wings and beer and other refreshments (no keg though lol) our college choices!

Like a reverse College shopping day when you are/were in high schools.

There was the orange table where Leon sat for his Waynesburg undergrad.

But there was a lot of Red in the house for NCState.

In my photo is my dear friend Flo whom I met at water aerobics even before we moved in here.

What a deelightful party 🎉 it was visiting with others and sharing college experiences.

Today will be another fun filled day.
