People keep asking me…🥴

No, but really, people keep asking me about a housewarming party/launch party and I keep saying,

“Meh…”

It’s just that I’ve been open for several months at this point, so the new salon excitement has worn off for me already and I’m just focused on growing now.

Not only that, but doing a one-time party seemed like a waste if I couldn’t do it BIG big.

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized…

I’ve been guilty of not appreciating my wins or not letting myself FEEL them because I feel like I have to hurry up to the next thing.

After about the 500th time being asked, I finally gave it another thought…

And I knew I needed to honor this moment in my life and celebrate the beginning of Ginchy Studio properly!

So I’m happy to announce the inaugural Ginchy Cocktail Party on October 5th!!! 🎉 🎉🎉

Every year we’ll have a cocktail party to celebrate the anniversary of opening Ginchy Studio where you can mix and mingle within our Ginchy community. We’ll sip on a Ginchy Signature Cocktail or mocktail along with having some light appetizers. There will be gifts and giveaway prizes to celebrate YOU all too 💜

Hiiii! 👋🏾 I’m Asia, owner of Ginchy Studio and I can’t wait to see you in the shop!

I’m a versatile hairstylist who has *technically* been in the industry since 2009, but I left the salon space to work in pharma/biotech for 10+ of those years.

I was miserable in corporate 🥹

But I thought I just needed to be more aggressive about climbing the corporate ladder. So I earned 3 degrees in 5 years.

…and I was still miserable 🤣

Luckily I’d kept my skills up by doing friends and family’s hair over the years, so when I left my corporate job last December, it just made sense to me to get back into a salon full-time.

And why not make it MY salon, ya know? 😌

Now THIS feels right. THIS feels like happiness.

And that’s more or less the feeling I want other women to feel when they come to see me.

Being able to provide a space where women can begin to feel like themselves again is what’s most important.

I know what it’s like to not recognize yourself in the mirror anymore…

…to know you can change how you look, but are too overwhelmed (and overtired and overlooked) to bother…

…to know that when you look good, you feel good and maybe getting your hair done is the first step towards that, but not feeling like you’re worth that time, money, or even energy to book that appointment and go consistently.

Let’s change that.
