Anxiety doesn’t always look the way we expect it to.

It can show up as overthinking, needing reassurance, difficulty sleeping, avoiding certain situations, procrastinating, or simply feeling like you can’t fully relax.

While anxiety is a normal part of life, it may be worth reaching out for support when it begins interfering with your relationships, sleep, work, or everyday life. 🌿

You don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to ask for help.

You can care deeply about someone and still have limits.

Setting healthy boundaries isn’t about being selfish, shutting people out, or controlling what others do.

It’s about recognizing your needs, communicating your limits, and making choices that support your emotional well-being.

Sometimes, that looks like:
🌿 Saying no when you’re overwhelmed.
🌿 Taking time for yourself without feeling guilty.
🌿 Giving yourself permission to pause before responding.
🌿 Recognizing that you can’t be everything to everyone.

And remember, setting boundaries doesn’t mean you care less about others. It means you’re making room to care for yourself, too.

Healthy boundaries take practice, and it’s okay if they feel uncomfortable at first.

💬 Let’s talk: What’s one boundary you’re working on setting or maintaining? Share in the comments if you feel comfortable.

📌 Save this Reel for a reminder that your needs matter, too.

Burnout doesn’t always look like falling apart.

Sometimes it looks like still showing up. Still answering emails. Still meeting deadlines. Still taking care of everyone else—while quietly feeling exhausted, disconnected, or like you have less and less left to give.

Burnout research reminds us that it isn’t simply about being “bad at handling stress.” Our workload matters, but so can feeling unsupported, having little control, experiencing unfairness, feeling unrecognized, or noticing that our work no longer aligns with what matters to us.

And while rest can absolutely help, sometimes recovery also means getting curious about what’s draining you in the first place.

đź’ A question to sit with this week:
What am I needing more of—or less of—right now?

You don’t have to wait until you’re completely depleted to seek support.

🌿 Save this post for the weeks when everything feels like a little too much, or share it with someone who might need the reminder.

Stress is part of being human.

The key isn’t avoiding stress altogether. It’s noticing when stress is showing up and finding healthy ways to respond.

🌬️ Pause & breathe. 🚶 Move your body. 🤝 Reach out for support.

Burnout is more than feeling stressed or tired.

According to burnout researcher Christina Maslach, burnout shows up in three key ways:

🌊 Emotional Exhaustion
🌊 Depersonalization (detachment and cynicism)
🌊 Reduced Personal Accomplishment

When burnout takes hold, you may feel drained, disconnected from people and work, and begin questioning your impact or effectiveness.

Recognizing these signs is the first step toward recovery. If these experiences feel familiar, know that you’re not alone and support is available.

When the Storm Passes, Healing Continues. 🌺

Disasters don’t end when the winds calm or the fires are extinguished.

For many, the emotional impact lingers long after the immediate danger has passed. You may notice increased anxiety, difficulty sleeping, hypervigilance, grief, sadness, or a feeling that you’re still waiting for the next emergency.

These are normal responses to abnormal events.

Whether you’ve been affected by hurricanes, wildfires, evacuations, or the uncertainty that follows, you don’t have to carry the weight alone.

Healing happens one step, one conversation, and one moment of self-compassion at a time.

💚 It’s okay to ask for support.

💚 It’s okay to not be “back to normal.”

💚 It’s okay to prioritize your mental health.

If you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, grief, or trauma related to recent disasters, we’re here to support you.

🌿 A Gentle Reminder About Rest

In a culture where being busy is often valued, it can be easy to feel like rest needs to be earned.

What might it be like to make space for rest today, even for a few moments?

Take a pause. Breathe deeply. Feel the warmth of the sun, listen to the waves, or simply notice the stillness around you.

Maui’s natural beauty can serve as a reminder to slow down, be present, and check in with yourself. Consider giving yourself permission to take a break without attaching it to what you’ve accomplished.

✨ A moment to pause.
✨ A moment to breathe.
✨ A moment to reconnect with yourself.

Watch the sunrise. Walk a little slower. Sit by the ocean. Notice what’s here right now.
