Because it's not about hormones or fasting or gut health or any of the things you'd expect from me.

It's about something most wellness coaches never touch. Something that affects your stress levels, your sleep, your health, your confidence, and your nervous system every single day, but we've been taught it doesn't belong in the wellness conversation.

I'm going there anyway. Because I wish someone had gone there for me years ago.

Here's what I'll tell you...this episode started because I listened to something that unexpectedly changed how I think about this entire season of my life. And I knew I had to share it with you.

If you've ever thought "I wish someone had taught me this sooner," this one is for you.

Episode drops Tuesday. Make sure you're following The Lifestyle Reset Podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts so you don't miss it. ๐ŸŽง Link in bio.

I just got honest.

I sat down and reflected on what this entire season was really about.
And the truth is it became so much more than I planned.

It started with health and hormones. The things that brought most of you here. But somewhere along the way we went deeper. We talked about grief and identity and boundaries and the courage it takes to admit that the life you built doesn't fit the woman you're becoming.

We talked about rest as resistance and bodies that feel like strangers and the invisible labor nobody sees. We talked about the old rules that no longer work and what it looks like to finally stop following them.

In this episode, I share what I'm leaving behind as this chapter closes. The rigid expectations. The belief that wellness is just about food and exercise. The version of me that needed everything to be perfect before she could begin.

And I share what I'm carrying forward into the next season of this podcast and into the next season of my life.

But most importantly, I'm asking you the same questions:

What are you ready to leave behind?
What do you want to carry forward?
What would it look like to build a life that reflects who you're actually becoming?

This conversation isn't over. She's evolving. And so are we. ๐Ÿ’›

Can we stop dismissing women's rage as a symptom that needs to be managed?

Here's what's actually happening. You're in perimenopause or postmenopause, and suddenly there's this anger that feels foreign. It rises fast. It burns hot. It shows up in moments that used to roll right off your back.

Your partner leaves dishes in the sink... rage. Your coworker interrupts you... rage. Someone tells you to calm down... and you almost lose it entirely.

Then comes the shame. What is wrong with me? I'm not an angry person. I need to get it together.

So you stuff it down. Apologize. Blame your hormones. Because that's what we've been taught: to treat our anger like an inconvenience instead of information.

But what if your anger isn't the problem? What if it's the messenger?

Yes, your hormones are shifting in ways that genuinely affect your mood and nervous system. That's real. But the hormonal shift isn't creating anger out of thin air. It's removing the filter that kept you quiet about it for decades.

The things making you angry now probably made you angry ten years ago. You were just too busy managing everyone else's comfort to acknowledge it.

The unequal workload. The relationships where you give everything and receive crumbs. The years of being talked over and expected to smile through it.

Your hormones didn't create that anger. They just stopped helping you hide it.

That's not a dysfunction. That's an awakening.

Your anger is showing you where boundaries have been crossed. Where your needs have been ignored. Where you've been settling.

Don't just manage it. Listen to it. Honor it. Let it show you what needs to change.

Drop a ๐Ÿ”ฅ if you've been carrying this. ๐Ÿค

Short. Simple. And something every woman in midlife needs tattooed on her heart.

Because how many things have you not tried because you were afraid of getting it wrong? How many times have you talked yourself out of starting something because you couldn't guarantee the outcome?

The business idea you shelved. The boundary you almost set. The conversation you rehearsed a hundred times but never had. The lifestyle change you keep researching but never begin because what if it doesn't work?

We treat failure like a dead end. But it was never a dead end. It was always a redirect. A lesson. A "not this way, try that way."

Every woman I know who has built something meaningful in this chapter of her life didn't get there by getting it right the first time. She got there by getting it wrong and refusing to let that be the final answer.

You don't have to be fearless. You just have to be willing. ๐Ÿ’›

What are you ready to leave behind? And what do you want to carry forward? ๐Ÿ’›

This is it. The Season 2 finale. And I wanted to do something different with this last episode.

No tips. No strategies. No action steps. Just an honest pause before the next chapter.

Because this season has been something I didn't fully expect when I started. It went deeper than I planned. And I think it went deeper than you expected too.

We started with health and hormones, the things that brought most of you here. But somewhere along the way the conversation shifted. We stopped talking about just food and exercise and started talking about the stuff underneath it all.

Identity. Grief. Boundaries. The roles we've outgrown. The rules that no longer fit. The courage it takes to look in the mirror and say "I'm not who I was, and I'm done pretending I am."

In this episode, I'm sharing what I'm personally leaving behind as this season closes. The old expectations. The rigid rules. The belief that wellness is only about what you eat and how you move. Because it's so much bigger than that. It's about stress and grief and changing needs and the willingness to get honest about what isn't working anymore.

And I'm sharing what I'm carrying forward into the next season of this podcast and into the next season of my life.

But more than anything, I want this episode to be an invitation for you. To sit with these questions yourself:

What are you ready to leave behind?
What do you want to carry forward?
And what would it look like to build a lifestyle that actually reflects the woman you're becoming?

Season 2 may be ending. But this conversation? She's just getting started. ๐Ÿค

I'm so tired of watching women apologize for becoming clear.
Somewhere around midlife, something shifted in me. I started saying what I actually meant. I stopped laughing at things that weren't funny. I quit agreeing just to keep the room comfortable. I started saying "no" without attaching a five-paragraph explanation.

And you know what people called that? Difficult. Too much. She's changed.

They were right. I have changed. But not in the way they meant it. I didn't become difficult. I became honest. For maybe the first time in my entire adult life.

How many years did you spend softening every opinion so nobody felt challenged? How many times did you say "I don't care, whatever you want" when you absolutely did care? How many meetings did you sit in biting your tongue because being agreeable felt safer than being heard?

We spent decades shrinking. Decades editing ourselves in real time. Decades performing "easygoing" while it quietly suffocated us.
And then midlife came along, and something inside us just stopped. Not an explosion. More like a quiet refusal. A gentle but firm "no, I'm done with that."

That's not you becoming difficult. That's your voice finally catching up with your wisdom.

And this clarity isn't angry. It's calm. It's grounded. It comes from a woman who has lived enough life to know what matters and what doesn't. Who has earned the right to take up space without shrinking to fit someone else's comfort.

The women who get here? They're not difficult. They're free. And freedom in a woman makes some people very uncomfortable.

Let them be uncomfortable. That's not your burden anymore. ๐Ÿ’›

Drop a ๐Ÿ™‹โ™€๏ธ if you're done shrinking. ๐Ÿค

"You, and only you, are ultimately responsible for who you become and how happy you are." โ€” Rachel Hollis

I know this quote might sting a little at first. It did for me.

Because when you've spent years putting everyone else first โ€” when you've built your entire life around making other people comfortable and happy โ€” hearing that your happiness is ๐—ฌ๐—ข๐—จ๐—ฅ responsibility feels heavy. Like one more thing on the list.

But that's not what this means.

This isn't about adding more to your plate. It's about finally admitting that no one is coming to rescue you from the life you've been quietly settling for. No one is going to knock on your door and hand you permission to change. No one is going to prioritize your happiness for you.

That's your job. It always was.

And honestly? That's not a burden. That's the most liberating thing you'll ever realize.

Because it means you don't have to wait anymore. You don't need anyone's approval. You don't need the timing to be perfect or the kids to be older or the bank account to be bigger.

You can start right now. Today. This moment. One small choice that honors who you're becoming instead of who you've always been.

Your happiness isn't selfish. It's your responsibility. And you're ready for it.๐Ÿ’›

If you haven't pressed play on this one yet, especially if you're a teacher, this is your sign. ๐ŸŽง

Last week I released "๐—ฃ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—บ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—˜๐˜…๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฒ" ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐˜†๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐˜ ๐—ฃ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since.

Because this episode came straight from my heart. I lived this. For years I crossed that summer finish line and expected to feel relief, but instead my body would collapse. The exhaustion. The head cold that always showed up right on cue. The strange flatness that didn't match how happy I was supposed to feel.

And nobody ever explained why.

That's why I made this episode. Because every teacher deserves to understand what's actually happening inside her body after ten months of running on empty, and what to do about it.

Your nervous system doesn't just switch off because the calendar says July. Your cortisol doesn't drop because you're sitting by a pool. Your body has been storing an entire school year in your shoulders and your gut and your jaw โ€” and she needs more than a vacation to recover.

In this episode we talk about:
๐Ÿ’› Why teachers get sick that first week of summer
๐Ÿ’› The cortisol-hormone connection for women in midlife
๐Ÿ’› Simple nervous system practices that take minutes not hours
๐Ÿ’› Gentle fasting as a reset tool
๐Ÿ’› Sleep repair after a year of running on fumes
๐Ÿ’› The emotional detox most of us skip
๐Ÿ’› Boundaries to build now so September doesn't break you again

And if you're not a teacher, this episode is for anyone who has been calling burnout "fine" and wondering why summer hasn't fixed it.
