October is such a beautiful time of year! Everything finally starts to cool down, we begin to get rainy days again, the days get shorter, and the world feels a little quieter and less hectic. Fall and winter are seasons for resting and resetting, both our bodies and souls. The shorter days tend to force us a bit into a season of rest, which is a good thing, because our tendency is to keep pushing ourselves until our bodies say “stop.” It’s good to slow down before we wear ourselves out and are forced to rest.

So embrace the season. Find things to enjoy about it. Slow down, and give yourself a break and allow yourself to go at a slightly slower pace this season. Enjoy a warm cup tea while wrapped in a cozy blanket before you start your day, or as a way to unwind before bed. Enjoy porch weather while the weather is nice. Enjoy an early evening walk in the cool of evening. And thank the Lord for all of the blessings He has given you.

I am finishing up a small batch of Herbal Healing Balm, which is an herbal first aid balm that I have been making for many years now.

Crafting this balm is a process, and I carefully do it by hand each step of the way to ensure the purest and best quality balm. It takes patience, care, and knowledge to create an herbal like this one, and it is truly worth the wait.

I start by combining each of the herbs in this blend (plantain, comfrey, calendula, yarrow, rosemary, echinacea, elderflower, lavender, and chamomile), each of which was carefully selected for its nourishing properties. Then I place the herbal blend into a jar and cover it with organic extra virgin olive oil, seal it, and let it sit in a sunny window in my herbal studio for 6-8 weeks (I did 8 weeks this time), to allow all of the herbal nutrients to infuse into the oil. This is where patience comes into play, but it is so worth the wait! Once the herbs have properly infused into the oil, o carefully strain it out, enjoying the incredible herbal fragrance that fills my studio as I do this. Finally, it is combined with beeswax and gently heated to combine all of the ingredients, before hand pouring it into jars for my customers. Each jar is filled with love and prayers for the health of my customers.

My family has been using this balm for years for just about anything skin-related. It soothes, nourishes, and supports the body while it heals. We use it on so many things - scrapes, rashes, minor wounds, minor burns, bites, and anything else pertaining to skin health. It is so soothing. One of my friends calls it angel kisses because she loves how much it helps her family with skin health.

We always keep this on-hand, because you never know when you will end up needing it, and we do not want to be without it!

You can purchase it at The Junktion, The Kraze, and The Market At 76067, and also at Etsy.com/Shop/CornerstoneApoth

I received this very nice message from the nicest customer, who was looking for my Whipped Beef Tallow, after having bought it while on a road trip. It is always so encouraging to hear from customers when they love my products! 😊

"I’m messaging you because I love your beef tallow. I actually do social media and I’ve been trying to find the best for sensitive skin. Tallow right now is everywhere but when I was on my road trip from Arizona to Boston I got yours in June at some random place in Texas and I’ve used it and compared it and it is the best . "

Have you tried my Whipped Beef Tallow? Did you love it? My customers say it is silky smooth and they love how it makes their skin feel. It is made with four pure, natural, top quality ingredients that are very nourishing: grass fed tallow made from suet, organic hexane free castor oil, organic frankincense carterii essential oil, and organic frankincense serrata essential oil.

Available at The Market At 76067 , The Kraze , and The Junktion .
