Hello my wonderful clients 🫶🏼

I wanted to share a little life update. I’ll be stepping away from the salon starting April 1st as my family prepares for a move and I take some time to focus on my kids.

This decision definitely wasn’t easy because this space, my coworkers, and especially my clients have meant so much to me. Thank you for trusting me with your hair and letting me be a small part of your lives, truly means more than I can put into words.

For my clients, I’ve saved all of your color formulas, notes, and preferences, and I’ve personally selected stylists at the salon who I feel would be the best fit for you moving forward. I’m happy to help connect you and make the transition as smooth as possible.

If you have an appointment scheduled after April 1st, either I or the salon will be reaching out to get you rescheduled with another stylist. If you’d prefer to move your appointment to one of my remaining openings before April 1st, feel free to message me and I’ll do my best to get you in 🤍

And this isn’t goodbye forever, just a new season. If you ever have questions or need anything, I’m always just a message away.

I love you all so much and I’m so grateful for the support you’ve given me over the years 🫶

Coming out of hibernation with this transformation 🫢

22” extensions and transformative blonding ✨

Today’s client came in wanting a few K-Tips added for extra blend on her sides but once I lifted her hair, I found some things that needed a little extra love.

The first 3 pictures of my work the other 3 are the previous install.

Swipe to see what I was working with.

I never call out another stylist, but I WILL always advocate for healthy installs and proper technique because your natural hair and the longevity of your extensions depend on it.

Here’s what I noticed:
• Uneven parting + inconsistent spacing
• Beads placed too close to the scalp, causing tension + discomfort
• Sections that were too big/small, making blending harder and risking slippage
• Lack of symmetry, which makes the whole install sit uneven
• Areas that should’ve been left out for coverage were tangled into the row leaving zero hair to conceal the weft

Here’s what a clean install should look like:
• Straight partings
• Evenly spaced beads for comfort + durability
• Balanced tension (you should not need to take pain medication)
• Proper leave-out to fully conceal each row
• Seamless blending that actually supports the haircut + your natural density

Healthy installs aren’t just about looking good they’re about protecting your real hair, preventing breakage, and making sure your extensions last as long as possible.

If you’ve been struggling with slipping, matting, or discomfort… it might not be you it might just be the install.

Your extensions should feel secure, comfortable, and natural. If you’re unsure what’s going on under there, I’m always happy to take a peek and guide you.
