A question I’ve been getting a lot lately: “How do I make my pores look smaller?”

My first question is usually about their current routine.

Because if you’re not cleansing consistently, let’s start there before adding a bunch of new products.

A gentle cleanser, moisturizer and daily sunscreen are a solid foundation. Consistency can help reduce buildup and improve how your skin looks and feels… although no cleanser can permanently shrink your pores.

I’ve seen clients benefit from sticking with the basics, and that’s why I always want to understand your routine before recommending more.

And that’s completely fine.

You don’t need to know what your skin needs, have a skincare routine, or know what to ask for. You just have to show up. I’ll take it from there.

Men’s skin isn’t automatically a completely different category of skin. What matters is finding someone who actually looks at your skin, your routine, your concerns and your grooming habits and adjusts the treatment accordingly.
