Goodnight Kiss Music
Longtime music publishing company with over 150 cuts in terrestrially broadcast films, television shows, and ads. We LOVE great lyrical songs!
I'm getting more emails lately, writers looking for placements, etc. As a writer myself, I sympathize with how difficult it can be. However, just as a note (so to speak), if you begin your letter with "Hey guys" or "Hi there" or other generic greeting, we know it's a copy/paste situation. If you think you can fool anyone by saying, "Hey, I've followed your work for X-amount of years, and love what you do!", we know you are BS-ing. If you want someone's attention, honestly, you should address them by name. You should only mention their specific work in a way they know you've connected with it. Why would anyone spend valuable time on listening closely to your work if you don't take the time to actually do a bit of research on them? They still may not accept your music, but at least they are much more likely to read your intro letter.

Release date: Sept. 15, 2020. Take a virtual trip to Hawaii until the state reopens!
A long time between our posts! We are just busy, with little social network time to spare. Cannot wait to announce a new film we have landed - 11 (ELEVEN!!!) songs in that new film! That is the most cuts we've gotten from one movie, so it's nice to hit a new highlight! (Our former record was seven in one film, so we are ecstatic!) We can't announce until the film is released, and since it's SFX driven, it might be a few months, but I'll definitely post it HERE when we get the green light on posting.
Hello!
Yes, we have been a BMI publishing company since 1992 (along with our sister company at ASCAP, SceneStealer Music), with well over 100 cuts in AIRED (broadcast on television, as well as movies in theaters) cuts and uses. Occasionally, I still work as a supervisor on projects, and when I do, needs will be posted here, on my “personal” FB page, and at LI.
We do not accept unsolicited material. It's not because we don’t care. It’s because the timespan is wide between projects which means I won’t remember the song (or who wrote it, or where it's located) at the time I may need it. However, when I do seek new material, there is never a charge to submit it (nor should there ever be a charge to listen from any legitimate publisher).
We do offer a song review service for a fee, but we don’t solicit that. I post it here today to avoid the requests for listens and feedback, which require lots of time that I just don’t have. Thanks for understanding that part!
Wishing you everything good for your music!
