It’s so important not to touch your freshly waxed skin! I know it’s tempting but to avoid breakouts and ingrown don’t ever touch your new skin with dirty hands. Remember to exfoliate too!! 😉

Exfoliating helps get rid of the dead skin and makes it easier for the hair to come to the surface. Helping keep the area clean and moisturized is a must to maintain that flawless skin. Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate!!!

Here’s a little comparison for you to think about and why you should consider waxing! As you can see waxing is the only method shown that removes the hair all the way from the root. Which gives longer lasting results! So think about throwing out those razors, your skin will thank you! 😉

Anagen: New hair growth stage. New hair pushes hair up and out follicle. Best stage for hair removal, giving long results!
Catagen: Transition stage. Hair detaches from the dermal papilla. Follicle begins to close from the bottom out pushing out the hair.
Telogen: Resting stage. Hair is only attached by epidermal cells but may remain in the follicle or fall out.
Remember every hair is independent and at a different growth stage. For this reason once you start waxing it’s important to stay consistent with your waxing to try and get all your hair to the same growth stage. Doing this helps slow down the growth because hair can stay in the anagen stage for weeks or even years!

One thing I love most about waxing is that instant gratification!! Hair, NO hair! Silky smooth skin is all that’s left. 🤗
