What’s the worst that can happen🤗

You don’t do your research on the nail tech. Are they even licensed?

You get nails that you don’t like. You get extremely damaged nails that will compromise the next set of nails you get and can cause painful breaks when they reach a certain point. Nails that don’t last. It’s something well known you get what you pay for. Sometimes the cheapest option means you have to replace it more times than the expensive one.

Here my client came in with square nails with improper structure. Many nail technicians try to make square nails appear narrower by filing the side walls which just creates problems as the nails grow out. As you can see at the point where the nail enhancement grows out and the new nail is growing out there is a shelf that makes it so much more prone to nail breaks at that area.

I understand some clients want the narrow square look but it depends so much on the nail beds themselves as to how narrow we can make them without compromising on the structure. we as nail techs need to give a reality check to our clients when there expectations just cant be met as they do not know what is healthy or not.

I am do proud of my client! She has been growing out her natural nails since August for her wedding . This was her very first appointment to her second to last one! We had been experimenting with different colors and finishes for her big day and ultimately she choose to have her nails be her something blue🩵
