What we see as practitioners…👄

I believe that lip filler can truly be an art! It’s important that we listen to what the client wants. Some people prefer a heavier top lip or a bigger bottom lip so during the consultation we must listen and discuss, with our best practitioner knowledge what the client would like to achieve! 📚

The Cupid’s bow is the “V” in the centre of the top lip. Most people prefer to have this defined, lifted and sharp, although some people do prefer a more soft and subtle Cupid’s bow- the both look great! 💘

The vermillion border is the border all the way round the lips. We use the linear technique in the border to make it more crisp and sharp!

We avoid the tubercle area so it doesn’t give that beaky sort of look. It is often that you see injected filler in the Cupid’s bow area which then drops in the the tubercle area causing it drop and making the lip look puffy. Injecting too close to the wet/dry border can cause lumps within the lip and cause the lip to sag so we try to avoid injecting too closely.

When having lip filler do remember that the practitioner has done plenty of studying and learnt so much to give you the best lips possible and getting the perfect lips can be hard but also takes a lot of skill 👄✨🤍
