Does winter have your lips feeling dry? Many people don’t know that filler helps with lip hydration. This lovely client has always been bothered by her, as she calls them, “handle bars” (jowls and marionette lines). She wanted a quick fix on a budget. We were able to soften these lines with 1 syringe of Revanesse Ultra. In the future she would like to consider Radiesse to help provide more structure and build collagen to her cheeks, jawline, and the lateral face to help with the laxity that is contributing to her jowls.

It’s amazing what 1 syringe of filler can do. Here we used 1 syringe of Revanesse to address her under eyes, nasolabial folds, and perioral lines and the outcome was an overall refresh ❤️❤️❤️

It’s Melanoma Awareness Month. I just did my annual full body digital screen at the Skin Cancer Screening Clinic in Guelph and wanted to remind you all to make sure you are doing yearly skin checks as well, wherever you live. My years sun exposure almost cost me my life as I’ve had two superficial melanomas removed several years ago. They could’ve become invasive if I wasn’t having yearly checks. For those that live in Ontario, getting a dermatologist is nearly impossible. However you can get a full body digital screen at this clinic for $175, which, to me, is worth every penny when it comes to your health. This clinic does not require a referral from your doctor and if you need something removed or biopsied, the cost of that is covered by OHIP. So….get checked, monitor your own skin, stay out of the sun, wear long sleeves and wide brimmed hats, and always wear sunscreen over spf 50 for any time spent in the sun and keep reapplying. This GORGEOUS woman was bothered by volume loss to her under eye area (tear troughs) and was looking for correction. We provided just that with one syringe of Ultra. To support under eye filler we needed to replace some volume loss to her anterior cheek otherwise there is higher risk of migration. She is quite fair and has prominent veins to her tear troughs so we had to be especially careful. The result is subtle and more youthful 🤩🤩🤩

Did you know that Botox injections (specifically catered) can significantly improve the severity and duration of chronic migraines? These injections have been known to significantly improve the quality of life of migraine sufferers. There are specific criteria that would qualify someone to receive Botox for migraines and many insurance companies cover this treatment. This gorgeous young woman had never had filler before and was just looking for subtle enhancement and hydration of her already amazing lips. The top picture is the “before,” the middle is immediately after injecting, and the bottom photo is from the day after injecting. I always tell people not to freak out (like I did when I got my first lip filler) because your lips will be the most swollen for the first few days but then will settle beautifully 👄🫦❤️
